Watch your wallet because you can easily spend a lot of money here with all the amazing stuff you'll find. Whether shopping for yourself or someone else, you won't leave empty handed. Couldn't pass up on buying my own Dala Horse. All are beautifully hand painted. Such a great Swedish store that holds on to their roots and traditions. Great place!!!!

Missed the carvers. Got to see a Lady painting the Dala Horses. Really nice place. If you're in Lindsborg stop by. Be there early to watch the carvers at work, they're only there in the morning and the painting is in the afternoon.

This is really a wonderful gift shop located in downtown Lindsborg, Kansas. There's a ton of Swedish gifts and goodies available - and you can order a hand made dala horse to decorate the front of your home. The highlight is often watching the local artisans working on these traditional Swedish welcome signs.

My husband and I visit the Hemslojd (hem-sloyd) every time we're back in the Salina area to visit my family. It's a must-stop location in Lindsborg! They made dala horses on site, and you can watch the process, from carving to painting. You can also Swedish crafts, lace and other materials...as well as Lingonberry Jam and Anna's cookies!Plus you have to have your picture taken while sitting on the huge dala horse outside! I wonder if they still have ceiling tiles on an easel for you to sign when you visit? Look up in the workshop area and see the names on the ceiling...your name could be hung up there for a couple years or so.And I just discoved that you can get an Ostkaka (Swedish Cheese Cake..more like a sweet cottage cheese) on their web site!

I stopped in here with my mom on a trip through Lindsborg. We had a lovely time browsing and spent some time chatting with the friendly associate in the store. It was pretty slow since it was a weekday afternoon, so we more or less had the store to ourselves. The associate was helpful and told us some interesting tidbits about the town. I picked out a pair of earrings for my sister and she loved them! Great product & very fair prices. I will be sure to stop in again next time I'm in Lindsborg.

I ordered three beautiful Dala horses from their website. I had some questions and got quick responses by email. I received my lovely horses - all made in Sweden - and was very happy with the quality and the price.

Awesome people to deal with. I ordered etched pint glasses for my wedding party from their http://www.glass-decorators.com/ website. The glasses turned out perfect and Marc, the guy I dealt with was very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Our first visit today. Very disappointed. When we walked in there were two employees and neither one greeted us, nor spoke to us the whole time while we were in their shop (no one else was there) We wanted to buy a few gifts, but many of the items are very overpriced. Having said that, I still would have paid, but with service (or lack of) like that, I'll take my money elsewhere.
