Dr. Whiddon is the best. Very personable, really funny. Doesn't rush through appointments. Office staff is very friendly also. Best OBGYN office that I've been to. Easy to book appointments, online or by phone. Leaving messages for Dr are also easy, and their nurses return calls within reasonable amount of time.

I had my blood drawn twice here. Each time, they had to prick me THREE times and check each arm several times. It took longer than it should have just to draw blood. Totally incompetent staff. Unacceptable.

Admin staff and sonographer were very nice. Nice, clean office. However, my medical concerns were trivialized. The nursing staff were condescending and dismissive when I described the symptoms that my body was experiencing. I initially brought my concerns to the sonographer's attention, as she was my only point of contact within the facility for that month. She brought in the nurse who was on duty that day, who contacted my provider's nurse, who contacted my provider. My diagnosis was relayed back to me in the same fashion. It was, unsurprisingly, an incorrect diagnosis. I had to fight to receive any routine screening pertinent to my concerns.Providers are difficult to actually access. Support staff are rude and dismissive. Heartland does not facilitate patient-centered care. After posting negative reviews, I was called by their office. Although the purpose of the call was supposed to be about my lab results, Heartland's focus was on the fact that l had given them a negative review. The staff member was unable, or unwilling, to relate my actual lab values to me. I had questions about my restrictions (restrictions I learned from Dr Google as their office had failed to broach the subject with me) which were dismissed and brushed aside in favor of discussing my review. After repeatedly redirecting the conversation back to my health and condition I did get short answers to my specific questions, but no additional information or guidelines as to which symptoms lasting for what duration would merit intervention or emergency treatment. The office does not seem to believe in patient education, and shows more concern about their image than their patient's health. I also learned during the lengthy discussion of my review that the staff at Heartland did not document the reason for my first two visits, nor did they chart any of the concerns that I raised during any visit or call. The staff member that called informed me that in light of my negative review, the doctor felt I should find another practice for future care. Although I obviously intend to do just that, having a staff member call to tell me to go elsewhere because I had the audacity to complain about: their lack of best practices, poor bedside manner, and lack of a patient-centered care model seems unprofessional and questionably ethical.

Staff was helpful, i liked the doctor, very straight forward but during my procedure another nurse joined in saying she could tell i was very scared and unhappy ( that s a very rude thing to say and i start feeling stressed after that). I told her i was fine and that i could handle it on my own. She refused to leave, sat down and stood there staring at me and talking the whole time. She was short, very strong, had very dark skin, kind Hispanic looking type, young with medium straight hair. Unfortunately they don t wear tag so i can t tell her name. It was a very bad experience.

Everyone I've worked with at HWG has been absolutely wonderful. I'm going on my second pregnancy with them and would highly recommend Dr. Hague and Kelli. They're incredibly knowledgeable and down to earth.

Horrible experience. They were fine with general ob appointments but when I got pregnant it went downhill. They couldn't remember anything that I told them from appointment to appointment. Apparently they didn't take notes. Every time I went in I saw someone new, there was no consistency. Even the girl that took my blood was rude. I felt like they judged me, too. Very bad experience.

We had to fire Dr. Janna Chibry, Ob-Gyn from being my wife's primary physician. She was terminated because of the deplorable customer service from Heartland Woman's Group, not from her own incompetence. Janna was very professional, but we simply couldn't take the Ill treatment provided by "Kelly" her office manager, or head nurse on call, or whatever her title is. My wife had just given birth to our second daughter a few days ago, my wife's third cesarean and was running out of pain meds. Jenna promised my wife that she would adequately ensure proper pain management during postnatal. My wife called Heartland on Saturday morning requesting additional pain meds. Kelly returned my wife's call and said Janna is not to be disturbed on the weekends and if my wife didn't want to take aspirin, then to go to the emergency room to get another pain med prescription. When I heard the voicemail, I immediately called Kelly back to make sure I understood her correctly. I questioned how she could suggest we take our newborn who is hours old (and our two year old) to go sit in an emergency room with whooping cough, TB, SARS and every other germ floating around so my wife could get pain meds, or was she suggesting my wife drive to the emergency room alone while under medication after just being released from the hospital? This suggestion was absolutely absurd, insulting and ludicrous. I am hurt and furious. My wife has never taken pills in her life (other than post-surgery) and as for me, I have never had a cold or the flu or been sick in my life and I'm 48 years old. Making us feel devalued, unappreciated and to feel like drug addicts for asking for a prescription is deplorable. Kelly refusing to contact Dr. Chibry to have her author another prescription so I could go pick it up is unacceptable. Kelly is obviously the "pride and joy" of Heartland Woman's Group so we will not be going back there while Kelly's professional demeanor and customer service acumen is the standard Heartland is proud of. Don't worry Dr. Chibry as an IT executive, I hire my own problems as well. The only difference is when someone I hire for a team I put together treats my clients or customers with the ill-respect you obviously condone, I dismiss them. I can also see by the other review on this site for your Group that my wife and I are not the only ones who find your staff (Kelly in our case) incompetent, insensitive and audacious. In your defense, we did and do like you, but we simply refuse to let Kelly treat us this way as we have far too much respect for ourselves. In addition, this is my review of your Group as I don't share Kelly's sense of humor with her emergency room suggestion with our newborn. I do not speak for my wife.
