Long Story.......I went to my Primary Care for an issue with my hands. After allowing it to go on for some time (like 6 months), he looked at my hands and told me that I had a fungal infection. He said that it was pretty bad and that I need to be patient, and that it was going to take some time to correct. After many trips, multiple medications, different creams and ointments and 2 more years, I decided to check out Heartland. After one looks at my hands they decided that I had psoriasis. They gave me a treatment plan and some cream, and after 3 weeks my hands were totally clear and healed. Couldn't be more thankful that I don't have to deal with that pain and unsightliness anymore. Thank you guys!

This dermatology practice isn't very good at all. They are just PA's here. You won't get to see a doctor. I tried it for six months and they didn't relieve any of my skin problems. They tend to prescribe expensive prescriptions, which I understand is something they can't control. But they aren't prepared to work with a budget or prescribe alternatives. They won't work with you because they don't listen. I saw Ashton Youngers, and I don't recommend her. She cuts you off when you try to explain what's going on because she sends her nurse ahead. So you really only spend time with the nurse, not the PA. You're really paying to be seen and treated by a nurse here. They also blame you for your skin conditions, God forbid you scratch something that itches, when they don't prescribe anything insurance covers for itching. They write it off as YOUR fault, and not even possibly THEIR fault for not knowing how to diagnose or treat your skin conditions. They may be able to handle the basics, but if you suffer something severe, they can't help you. They did a biopsy on me and their nurse couldn't even remove the stitches properly. I had to finish the job at home myself because I got home with a stitch coming out of the wound. They're the same as any dermatology office that's just going to tell you to "Use CeraVe" and if you don't, again, it's YOUR fault you have a skin issue. Couldn't be their sub-par practice at all. I saw them for six months and they claimed there's nothing they can do--but get this--offer me an expensive lightbox treatment. It's going to cost $38/treatment! They recommend 2-3x/week! So in other words, they can't help for under $480/month! Seems like a scam. But wait, I thought nothing could help my condition? Only "get sunlight" and "use CeraVe." Oh, sure! For $480, they will help you! Stay away from this practice unless you're OK with #FWA. I won't be lining their pockets at my expense.
