The check in and check out staff are wonderful. And Dr Beard and his staff are excellent too. I feel super lucky to have found such an excellent cardiologist in Wichita!!

They act more like a fast food restaurant, you are a number not a person. Assembly medical office. They always need another expensive test to rule out something else.

My first visit to Heartland Cardiology was unexpected,I was being given a pre-op check on 12/21,for surgery scheduled for 12/28. My Dr saw something she didn't like on the EKG,so she scheduled an appointment with Dr.Bakdash at Heartland Cardiology on the 23rd. Dr.Bakdash is very thorough, and after reading my EKG,would not give me clearance for the surgery. He went out of his way to work me in the next day(New Years Eve) for a sonogram and a stress test. Fortunately I was given the clearance and had my surgery on Monday the 28th. I'm very grateful for Dr.Bakdash and the very professional technicians. The way I was treated was much appreciated. He could have very easily said that my operation would have to be rescheduled, due to the New Years holiday.I would recommend Heartland Cardiology to everyone.

I had a excellent experience working with the cardiology team here. I'd had heart problems my entire life, but because of being young, all my previous doctors brushed me off telling me I was having "growing pains". After one very scary incident that led to a visit to an immediate care facility, I was recommended to Heartland Cardiology. As soon as the doctor looked at my ekg results, he diagnosed my problem immediately and I had a procedure just weeks after that cured my problem. I'm grateful for the doctors and nurses that work there. I feel bad for the ones that have given bad reviews, but I would recommend this facility over any other in Wichita (I've been to a few).

I have just started going to the Derby office and so far, I just adore everyone there I have dealt with! I had to have a stress test and all of the techs were very clear about how long each part of the test would take and exactly what to expect with each one. I truly felt like a person and not a number at the Derby office. I can't say enough good things about them!

Never in my life have I ever come across such incompetent doctors who's neglect has become the main reason my already poor heart to begin with is now in the condition to have a 6th operation. You have to beg the doctors to perform tests despite the fact it's not their pocket being hurt by taking the few minutes it takes to write an order to have a test done. Once you finally beg enough they will not follow through. Belittling as well as only spending a few minutes in the office is a common problem you will face here. I can honestly state that since I've been sick my whole life and fighting to survive I've had to see many doctors, dozens. Out of all of them I genuinely mean it when I say you are wasting your time with the doctors at this office here.

I was disappointed I failed a stress test. I wonder if they fail everyone just to get more money out of you? I mean after insurance I owe them $700 and that does not include the heart Cath they did on me which turned up nothing. Now I owe $1400 for that just to tell me nothing? Seems like a lot of unnecessary procedures and cost, although I am happy nothing is wrong. This place and Epic are way way too expensive.

If I could give Heartland Cardiology a zero star rating I would. I was disappointed from start to finish. My PCP made an appointment for me to be seen at the 9000 Central Avenue location. The next day I received a voice mail from Heartland to confirm my appointment and location, which was for the Webb Rd location. After several attempts to verify my appointment was for the Central Avenue location and not Webb Rd, I was finally able to speak with a human at one of the other offices. She said that my appointment was for the Webb Rd. location. I asked to change it to the Central Avenue location and she said that I could not get in to that location until October (the date of my call was August 24th). So, I went to the Webb Rd. location which is inconvenient for me. The day of my appointment was August 27th. I arrived at the Webb Rd. location at 2:00PM for a 2:15PM appointment. The receptionist asked me if I brought my paperwork and I said, "no, I didn't receive any paperwork". She then gave me paperwork to complete before I went in for my appointment. I was called into the exam room at 2:30PM. The first person who entered the room took some information from me and told me to finish completing the paperwork and someone else would be in shortly. Another person came in and said, "don't bother completing the paperwork, I will ask you the questions and enter your answers into the computer". I was then given an EKG while sitting in a chair. At 3:20PM another person came into the room and said, "that the Doctor would be in shortly". I asked how much longer it would be and she said, "well, we had a lot of patients that needed to be worked into the schedule today because they were in the ER over the week end." OK, I get that. But if you know that you are going to have to work people in that were sick over the week end why schedule patients on Monday? At 3:35PM the Doctor came in (over an hour after my scheduled appointment). He spent about 10 minutes with me and told me that I needed to have a heart sonogram and a stress test. He said to take the paperwork to the desk and go ahead and check out. The person at the follow up desk told me that they would have to check my insurance to verify benefits and would call me the next day to set everything up. I also had to sign a paper that stated I would be billed $230.00 if I did not give a 24-hour cancellation notice. I called on 08.30.18. and 09.04.18. and left messages to see if an appointment had been scheduled. As of today, September 16, 2018, I have not had any of the follow up tests and I have not had a phone call to schedule an appointment.
