Not a bad place at all! I was a little concerned as it was a "no name" place in a teeny town, but I would stay here again....with a couple of requests. We left Houston early on a Wednesday morning to head back here for the funeral of hubby's best friend; we usually stay in Wichita, but hubby is from Haysville, and wanted to stay close. We arrived here at about 10:30 am after driving all night, and were tired and just wanted food, showers, and a nap. Not necessarily in that order. When we made the reservation, we asked for an early check in (and actually got a call from the hotel that evening saying they would try to honor our request to the best of their ability - I have never had that happen and was pretty impressed with the customer service) so we hoped that they would have a room ready for us. And they did! The check in was quick and easy and the guy at the front desk was super friendly and efficient. The room was fine. Nothing super fancy, but it was clean (no bed bugs...I always check first thing before I even move my stuff in!), and roomy! The bed was actually really comfy, and that's not only because we were exhausted. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't much hot water, but there was a carpet cleaner there so thought maybe that was why. Sadly, it wasn't, as we didn't get much hot water later that night again or the next day. It was warm, but not hot, and I like super hot showers. Plus, when we left Houston it was 65° and it was 35° when we got in Haysville and I needed to warm up, as this thin blooded Texan did not bring a coat! Brrr. They also had free, fast wi-fi which was nice as I tried to get some work done while we were there. I didn't, but I could have, so that's always nice! The bathroom didn't have a fan either which I thought was weird, and later that night the whole bathroom smelled very strongly of smoke. It must have been coming from the room below us, as the room on one side was non-smoking and the other side was empty. Weird. It was super stinky though, but luckily we had Febreze with us so we sprayed the bathroom and shut the door and it was ok.The breakfast the next morning was really good! They had coffee, orange juice, waffles, muffins, pastries, cereal, fruit, eggs, biscuits, and sausage gravy. And plenty of it! We were the only people in there and didn't have to fight anyone for the food. It was typical hotel food, but it was all fresh and hot and definitely started us off right on our long drive home.We were on a small budget this trip as it was unexpected, so we needed to sleep and eat on the cheap. Haysville Inn helped us out with that, as the room was only $60 ($66 with tax I think) and it was definitely worth it! Comfy, clean room with lots of space, great breakfast and friendly staff. There were a couple negatives (lack of a lot of hot water, and the smell of smoke the one night), but all in all, this was a great stay at a great price!

I've stayed here several times and I think it's a pretty nice place. The staff is very friendly and nice. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are actually comfortable! They have a free continental breakfast with biscuits and gravy, fruit, pastries, assorted cereals, etc. They also allow pets! Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I give it 2 enthusiastic thumbs up!

This is the only place in Haysville to stay. I stay here when I'm visiting my grandparents, and ONLY if there is no room at their house. The first time I stayed there I vowed I'd rather sleep in an RV that had been sitting for years than stay at this inn again. The second time they "renovated" it, and it was nicer. But still, I'd rather sleep in the basement of my grandparent's house, fight to use the 1 bathroom in the house, and all of that before staying here.If your company sends you to Haysville for and books you a room here ; they hate you, and I would quit your job.

Room is clean, price is good, beds are nice. Will definitely stay again. Only gave 4 stars because the bathroom didn't have a vanity sink in it but we made do.

Overall nice clean comfortable hotel. Didn't enjoy schlepping bags upstairs and the lady at check in was not very friendly but we did have a nice two night stay. $55 per night for two people in a king sized bed. Room came with micro fridge, microwave and flat screen TV. Continental breakfast includes B & G so I would say this represents a good value for the area.

Very disappointed in the unprofessional staff. We aren't tourists, we are locals who needed a room as our AC was not working. We entered the lobby to find the front desk personnel sleeping and we were unable to awaken him after 2 attempts. He then awoke with blood eyes and was unable to form a complete sentence. We left only to find the other hotel with friendly and alert staff was booked for the night. We came back to the Haysville Inn to find the same front desk personnel out front with a friend smoking... seriously. As a resident of Haysville, I have referred family and friends here previously. I will be speaking with the owner in the morning as the husband and wife who own the business locally have never been anything but outstanding members of the community and I feel this was a misrepresentation of their business.
