Canceled out on our estate sale the last minute and left us hanging dry. Do not recommend!

When searching for an estate sale company, Kristy promptly responded and answered my list of questions. We met and scheduled the sale days. After our family removed items we wanted, I handed the keys to her and she and her team went to work. The sale was a success and we were happy with the results. She definitely earned her percentage of the sale proceeds. I would recommend Happy Camper Estate Sales.

We made a appointment two months out and when it was over a month out I Called to set up atime to review our items just to find out that they gave our time to another person. No integrity with this company.

If you don't care that your estate sale people don't know how to price your items, then this is the company for you. This woman's parents "help" her with her sales. This means her mom helps herself to your belongings and that her dad tells customers at the sale that he doesn't know what to price things at. Jewelry, clothes, shoes and a brand new Cabella's fishing pole all disappeared before the sale even started. I know other things were taken that I'm not aware of. When I asked about the missing items, I was told that either they weren't good enough to put into the sale (a brand new pair of knee high leather boots from Dillards?) or that they had never seen the items. I have pictures, including one showing a brand new pair of snow boots they sat by the door one afternoon (they forgot to take them with them when they left that day.) Collectables were taken out of original boxes/packaging and the boxes/packaging were thrown away. A brand new in unopened box air humidifier was taken out and used by them. Fans that were supposed to be set up to sell were used by them. They blocked the backyard door, preventing customers from seeing/buying items out there. The sale was supposed to run 4 days, but they advertised for 3 and closed down after 2, leaving many many items unsold. Their flea market buddies came on the second day and got furniture for obviously very good prices. And finally, she gave me a check that day and asked me to not cash it that day. When I asked her if the next day was okay, she said yes. The check was refused by my bank for insufficient funds. These people are not professionals. You have been warned.
