Good food, good service. Gyoza was great. We had a cucumber salad with plum dressing that was amazing. The Chicken Japanese curry was good but wont get it again. It was a breaded fried chicken breast with a savory gravy and rice. No veggies. Gravy was ok but I definitely was disappointed it's called a curry and not gravy.

Low key dissatisfied and sad, wont be going back. Ambiance: Cold. For a brand new place, that was purposefully remodeled, they had no thought to the below freezing weather and wind chill that Wichita is known for in the winter months. Our table along with the ones in line with the entrance were almost continuously blasted with freezing wind every time a customer came in. It made eating only possible with our winter jackets on. Service: Subpar. The food came out sporadically and they never refilled our beverages or checked in with us until it was time to pay. It felt very poor for such an elevated vibe. I hate pretension but more so when there is nothing substantive behind it. Food: They just lacked polish in the worst way. I guess I should not have expected Din Tai Fung levels of quality but folks, to call this a gyoza bar is a travesty. The menu is seriously lacking gyoza and what was served was both poorly presented and even more poorly prepared. Even the appetizers were just thrown together. Also, the forks bothered me. They were difficult to maneuver because of their lack of ergonomic shape.Overall, I don't wish this place ill but I probably won't be returning for a long time, if ever. The gyoza was such a let down after the quality and caliber of restaurants I have frequented in other cities that it saddens me to even think about it. I actually waited a few weeks to write this, out of sheer need to avoid thinking about how far below my expectations this place fell. Hard pass.

My husband and I went here for the first time and had high hopes but unfortunately it was subpar. The actual restaurant was super clean and high end looking. That part was amazing. Although, as far as the food goes was underwhelming. My husband got the 10pc pork and vegetables gyoza steamed and it was completely over cooked so the gyoza was mushy and falling apart. For myself, I had the 10pc wagyu and vegetables pan fried. The gyoza was still mushy and it was not sealed properly. We also had the cucumber appetizer and it tasted like straight mayo. The only thing that was okay was the tofu dish with this red sauce.

The Gyoza is wonderful, I thought the pan fried was good, but the deep fried is wonderful! I tried one of their specialty gyozas which was also good. The miso carbonara udon is insanely rich and delicious. It's an adorable date night spot! The servers are incredibly nice, but I've had some issues on the timing of food all 3 times I've been since the opening- I'm happy to keep coming back while they work out those bugs.

Amazing food and amazing staff to take care of a group of 5 hungry guys. The staff did an amazing job from start to finish on the meal. Would highly Recommend this spot for lunch or dinner. Fairly upscale style resteraunt so a great spot for a romantic meal for sure.

Overpriced for what was given. I had the original pork and vegetables gyoza and the wagyu beef and vegetables. They were both too mushy for my liking and kept falling apart so they were okay. They seemed to not be sealed properly. Maybe I have to come back and get deep fried for a crunchier shell. The udon however just tasted like spaghetti. The restaurant was clean and was nice inside. Overall I am not sure I would come back often.

Today my spouse and I decided to give gyoza bar one more try as he hadn't been there yet . We ordered two waters to start , one of which has a bunch of Fuzz floating in it . It's just water so we just asked for another. Then we ordered the chicken curry katsu. Here's where it got frustrating. The server brought my food out 15 minutes prior to my husband's food being brought out. So we sat and stared at my food because if Ide eaten he would have been eating alone. By the time his food got out the server said it was because when they initially were going to serve us both they realize the chicken was still raw. So apparently the best thing to do was to bring my food out and offer my husband rice while we waited lol . (Not a plate of their famous gyoza) but RICE lol that was quite laughable, and rude if you ask me. After 15 minutes of us sitting staring at my plate they brought out the food . Now for the taste. The flavor is pretty good but it's very clear they use thick cuts of chicken thighs which end up EXTREMELY tough and rubbery . If you want katsu curry we HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend skipping this place and making your way to KYURAMEN where they use quality meat and a beautiful panko fry and cut . In the end the server brought us a free mochi ice cream card which was nice but we ended up leaving it on the table because we did not feel like that remotely made up for one of us having to wait 15 mins until our food was cold to start eating because the others food was raw .

I was WOWED. Everything was absolutely delicious. Food came out very quickly, service was great. My favorite was definitely the tuna cigars, the hand roll, and the wagyu gyoza. The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was the onigiri didn't seem to have much filling. Great way to spend Valentine's day!

The restaurant looked very nice and clean. The atmosphere would be an amazing place for a date if the food wasn't so subpar. My table tried the tuna cigar and the taste threw all of us off. The taste was very fishy, but I figured maybe it just wasn't my type of food.I ordered the deep fried pork and vegetables gyoza as well. The gyoza kept falling apart and the flavor was just mid. Not the greatest. I also ordered the miso carbonara udon and it tasted like I was eating a block of cold, American cheese. Very pricey for the quality of food I received. Our waitress was really nice though! My udon noodles came out before the appetizers and everyone else's entrees but they had just opened when I first came so it's not that big of a deal.

Great food and service, loved the ambiance. I was shocked that there was not a line. The deep fried gyoza was our favorite, but everything was fantastic.
