Great vibe here. Friendly staff and inclusive atmosphere. Their food offerings were unique. I had a spinach-mushroom roll which is like a savory cinnamon-roll type pastry. A few vegetarian items but not a lot of gluten free choices.

Greek salad with warm pita and a blended vanilla matcha latte with fresh raspberries... this is what I get when I need some time to myself and a little pick-me-up! I always walk away feeling satisfied and so happy. The drink alone can immediately change my mood! So thankful for Gravel City and the fantastic staff.

As a college student attending Emporia State University this is my ABSOLUTE favorite place in emporia to go anytime. Great for studying, great for a coffee date with friends, great for literally anything. My favorite is the matcha latte over ice with oat-milk and the pepperoni rolls are to die for. I also highly recommend the Italian cream sodas or the London fog tea!!

The boba tea was fantastic, I wish they had a small size. They only have medium or large. We also ordered a hazelnut latte and it was just ok. Cool little place to sip and study.

Gravel City Roasters is tucked away in a sweet little store. The mocha I had was really good. I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I would have wanted because we were also getting breakfast at a local diner and they wouldn't allow other food or beverages in. I would go to Gravel City again.

I was driving from KC to Hutchinson and was in need of some caffeine when I pulled off the highway and ventured into downtown Emporia. I ordered a 4 shot drink called Frank's Crowbar; exactly the boost to get me down the road and to hike around the Tall Grass National Reserve for a bit. The next day on my return trip back to KC, I stopped in again and ordered an Irish Iceberg cold and blended. Both visits included very friendly male baristas, great drinks and a cool environment. See you next time I'm traveling down I-35.

Was in town for a conference at Emporia State and jumped in to take advantage of their free WiFi. I was welcomed by a kind gentleman who showed me their password and didn't mind that I was just going to sit there for a little bit to get some work done. I ended up getting a vanilla coconut latte and a raspberry white chocolate scone, which he said he baked not too long ago.My latte was tasty, although I would have preferred more of vanilla and coconut syrup. The scone was wonderful, fluffy with whole raspberries and chunks of white chocolate. The shop was clean, comfortable, and had tons of fun things to look at. I was sat at a table and directly faced a wall of people message from people who have come into town over the years to participate in the Dirty Kanza. Others came in and quietly chatted about comics or played board games. This seems like a nice place for locals and visitors to come together.

My normal (unimaginative) stop, the Starbucks by the highway, was closed, forced me to look further out and found this great spot! Super clean, friendly, great espresso. Inside of an eclectic gift shop and art gallery, such a cool space.
