Could be cleaner, and some sketchy drunk folks BBQing out of a charcoal grill at 10:00 pm. But it's cheap and fairly quiet. Running out of here first thing in the morning.

Where to begin? We stopped here while driving/moving across the country. We just needed a bed to sleep but this was an interesting find. If you dont mind staying at a spot with a broken ice machine, decorative/nonfunctional microwave, leaky pipes, and what looks to be the outline of what was once a mirror on the ceiling, then this is the place for you. It's not a 5-star establishment or anything but I cannot stress enough how clean it was. No fancy amenities. Just a nice place to sleep. The staff at the desk were all kind and helpful at 1 am, even looking through storage to find me a plastic fork. I cannot comment on their communal area because it was all closed for covid. Parking was easy with a giant moving truck with close access to a gas station across the street. I'd recommend this place for anyone needing sleep in a clean bed and a hot shower.

I was on my way to the Eisenhower Library in Abilene and everything in Abilene was booked so I looked for a hotel in Junction City as it appeared to be the next closest thing and there were several options here. I chose this place because it had above 3 stars on hotels.com and was 1/3 the price of the Best Western and Hampton Inn in Junction City. Here's the thing. It wasn't that bad. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The a/c worked well. I had to call the front desk to get the tv turned on, but once I did it worked fine. The wifi was solid. It even had a fridge, so that was good. The problem was that it appeared to be mid renovation, though I don't think it actually was. There was a spot in the ceiling where it looked like a light fixture used to be. There were spots in the wall where it looked liked sconces used to be. The countertop of the sink didn't quite meet the front panel of the sink. The shower was rusty looking by the drain and the shower head was literally just coming out of a hole in the wall. The door to the bathroom needed paint. It looked like they started retiling the bathroom, but either did a poor job or didn't finish. Here's the thing though. It was all aesthetic. Everything worked. it was cheap. It seemed clean, and it worked for the night. Would I have preferred to stay at the Hampton Inn, sure, but was the Hampton Inn worth 3x the money? Probably not.

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE OTHER REVIEWS! After reading the reviews, I thought this place looked clean and safe for a weekend spent with my two teenage daughters. I checked in for a 3 night stay on Thursday evening. While entering our second story, exterior door room, we noticed groups of men sitting outside of their rooms on old couches and chairs drinking beer. (I was told later that a construction company rents out the rooms in that building for their workers to stay for months at a time) Upon entering the room, we noticed that it was very dirty. There were hairs left in the sink and bathroom along with trash that was not thrown away, and the mirrors were not even cleaned. The entire room was extremely run down. The extra locks on the exterior door were also broken. We stayed for 10 minutes and left, because it did not feel safe in any way to stay here!! I called and emailed the following morning to request a partial refund since we only used the room for 10 minutes. I called back Monday morning because I did not receive a response, and I was told that no refunds would be given for game weekend.

Joe and Tonya are very friendly hosts. Its a safe, clean roadside motel. Don't expect franchise amenities but well worth the price. Reminds me of Route 66 motels.

This is a very old hotel. Nothing fancy, but clean. The workers are very friendly. The bed was comfortable. Smoking is permitted outside so there was smell of smoke n the room. We were given a bag with a bedtime snack when we checked in. Breakfast was packaged cinnamon rolls

Ava was great she gave me a treat bag always checked to make sure that I was comfortable and was always responsive. I wish I knew about this place sooner and will be the only place I stay in Junction city. The rest of the staff where also accommodating and made it a pleasant stay.
