Grain Bin

Great small town diner. Friendly staff, good food, and good service. I like to support local small businesses when I travel. Only complaint is they do not accept credit cards.

Cash only. Small-town Midwest diner food. Not a ton of variation in the offerings but absolutely solid nonetheless. Check the board or ask about the specials.

FYI - CASH OR CHECK ONLY! However, if you forget, there is an ATM located inside.My fiancé and I went to visit his family in Fredonia, Kansas in October 2019. There aren't too many breakfast places in the area so after a look through Yelp we decided to try the Grain Bin. Breakfast is served all day! Parking on the street in which we easily found a spot. The restaurant has a small hometown feel but is much larger than I was expecting. You pay at the front. Service - A+. We were immediately seated and had great service the entire meal. Service was quick and friendly. Food - B-. I had the Sunriser. 'Little brother to the High Noon, includes hash browns, potato planks, diced onions and covered with melted cheddar cheese, topped with 2 eggs and toast." The meal was of a nice size but there wasn't much flavor. However, I am from Orlando, where the restaurants are plentiful so please keep that in mind when reading my review. If you are looking for a classic hometown diner, add the Grain Bin to your list.

Breakfast is the way to go at the Grain Bin. Fast friendly service during the week day visit.

First time visiting and I'll go back for sure. Service was good and the time it took to get our food was fast. Order was spot on with zero issues.

Great service! We stopped in to eat breakfast, and were served quickly. They serve breakfast all day, but if you aren't in the mood for breakfast food then you can order from the other side of the menu. The prices were reasonable, and the restrooms were clean. The decorations are really neat, including antique fire extinguisher bulbs! My one complaint is that they don't accept credit cards.

The food is awesome and the service is great. Prices are great love the grain bin. Great hometown food.

Friendly good service. Clean restaurant. Service was fast. Reuben was just average.

Classic small town café, great breakfast all the time! We had waffles and bacon and Country Fried steak with eggs and hashbrowns. Fast service, even though it was a 10 minute wait to get in for Saturday lunch.

Fabulous experience, right downtown, great service, great food, great time, we will be back!
