Golden Q

Food is great tasting. Service is ok. However, the Ambiance targets the college crowd not the middle age or older crowd. Due to some things I'd keep the younger ones out of there.

When in Kansas, this is the place to be specially on Tuesday nights. A great crowd, a really fun karaoke DJ, good food and great drinks!

Had lunch here with the pickle burger and tots. I love fried pickles so I found it interesting so I tried it. Was very impressed and enjoyed it. It appears to be a very popular place at lunch as it got very busy while we were there. Service was fast and they checked regularly on us.

Great food great service but if you are not at your table then they will crab your drinks. So about there ambiance is great.

The best burgers in Hays! I always have to stop by and order when I'm in town. My personal favorite is the hangover burger. They also have wonderful monthly specials too.

so surprised at the meagerness of the food compared to the increase in pricing. $8 for 12 fried pickles. what happened to the quantity?

They have a lot of TV's that were on the same game. One tv was about 10 seconds ahead of the others. In the 4th quarter Leah came and turned that tv off because they wanted to make the other customers happy. They didn't care about the 30 other people that were watching that tv. Not impressed. And they were super rude about it. Leah has been known to antagonize customers. Won't be going back nor will the other 30 people there.

Definitely recommend, had a great time with family and the staff were nice. The food was great, and it had a nice vibe to it. If you want a good time with your family, friends, or yourself, this would be a good place to do so.

It's been over 20 years since I've been to the Q, but the burger is the same. Bigger building, cleaner bathrooms and no more $2.50 32 oz draws, but the burger is the same. It completely took me back to remembering my days at FHSU in the 90's. I will say that this is the BEST burger in Kansas. I can't wait to get back and have another.

The Golden Q has a great selection of burgers and brews. Friendly staff and fun atmosphere.
