Goebel Liquor - Rob's World of Beers

Service is great. Great selection of beer.Prices are ridiculous for basic staples like simple syrup. Lawdy. Vodka....i am able to get the giant one with the handle for the price of this tiny one at my local store.I get the beers being up there in price because of the unique selections...but those are better priced. Inside of store is well laid out. I have been coming here for years but I'm gonna have to find a cost efficient liquor store. For these prices they need to mix my drinks for me.

Best beer selection in town hands down! The guys are always helpful as well. When we are wanting to try something new they have great recommendations. We drive clear across town to shop here.

Whenever I'm in town and feeling the thirst this is the place I come. You cannot beat the wide variety of brews ranging from local, to nationally, to globally. See a variety that you want to choose? That's okay, you can build your own six pack. The beer is cold, they have a beer cave, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and very knowledgable. Want help in narrowing your selection or finding the right beer or wine for you? Just ask.

What's your favorite beer? It doesn't matter because whatever it is Im sure it'll be at this place! I LOVE coming here because you can mix and match and build your own 6 pack (cans and bottles). They have the the cardboard carriers hanging on the walls- you grab one and start mix and matching. Coffee beers, light beers, dark beers, hundreds of different ales- it's a beer haven. Don't get me wrong, they also have a wide selection of wines and other liquor, but can't help but be impressed by the vast beer selection and the ability to not have to commit to one kind. Fingers crossed they'll expand with more locations.

There's only one reason you drink Miller (Coors, Bud) Lite, and it sure as hell isn't for the taste. Craft brewing has become as intricate as wine making, though it's not as widely recognized yet. Some people get it, though - people like Rob, whose World of Beers at Goebel is - quite simply - the best open stock and non-open stock collection of beer I have ever seen. I've been anticipating visiting since I learned of my move to Wichita, and as soon as I entered and made a beeline for the coolers, I was struck breathless at the row after row of unique beers from far and wide. After fifteen minutes of perusing, I somehow managed to throw together a six pack. As I made my way to the register, an employee (maybe it was Rob, though it was probably a good thing I didn't find out, because I feel compelled to hug the man) asked, "Just one six pack?" I didn't say it at the time, but the answer is, "There are going to be many, many more six packs to come."While I was contemplating my selection, I noticed a pair of gentleman come in and pick up a sixer of Dos Equis. I felt like running up to them and shaking them violently, asking them if they realize the treasures they had right under their noses. Life's too short to drink crappy beer. I'll be back, Goebel. Oh yes, I'll be back.

My favorite beer store in the ICT! I don't live in Wichita, but I always make it a point to stop in if I'm in town. Good questions to ask when you visit: what's new, what's popular, and what's your best deal of the moment. I love Rob's because the staff is super helpful and they are as passionate about beer as I am. Be sure to check in on Untappd - at certain times it will get you a sweet discount.

They have special bottles of wines.For my collection. Friendly people. Always willing to help.

Jesse is the greatest employee!! I don't know what they're paying , he deserves a raise....so smart! Very helpful!

They carry Grolsch! Clerk was very knowledgeable. Store is easy to spot from street. Prices are very reasonable.

No more business from me. Last 2 times since COVID mask mandate clerks at counter not wearing masks and at least half a dozen or more customers in allowed in store without masks. Obviously they care more about $$$ than their customers health and the community.
