Glazed Goose Bar & Grill

A typical neighborhood bar and food. However the staff is lots better than can normally be expected at these locations and the food to match. Tacos are great, my favorite pork tender sandwiches are a ten and the place is not so loud that you can have great dialog with those at the table with you. Will go back often.

3 cooks quit Glazed Goose April 2024 since the 2 owners refused to pay for a mandatory 8am job meeting. They open at 11am. All 3 cooks are 17 years old with 3 1/2 years and 2 years experience with them. They are covered by FLSA Federal Law! According to the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), you must compensate your employees for "working time," which includes mandatory meetings. Non-salaried employees must be paid for all time spent at mandatory meetings.

Great bar food. Tuesdays and Thursdays are both Taco & burrito days. So good! Fridays are Chili Cheese Dogs. Yum! Check out the cheeseburgers and they alsolutely have the best gizzards in town. Service can be spotty, but Airelle (sp) always knows my name and what I want even when I haven't been in for a couple of months.

Nice neighborhood bar and grill that's been around for years. A few of my buddies stopped in for after golf lunch and beers the other day.A really good look and super friendly waitress. My bros enjoyed their reuben and smoked Turkey sandwiches, but I was disappointed to learn that my fish & chips was made from swai (a junk imported farm raised fish with dicey reputation). Also, we all agreed that their fries (chips in this case) are not great. Very dark in color, saturated in oil and soggy.Anyway, the vibe was good, beer was cold and I think there are some good menu items to try on future visits.

Some of the best gizzards I've about had. They are tender, flavorful and delicious!! Service was a lil slow but I think only 1 person on the floor. Definitely going back when I'm in Topeka!!

A great bar with great people working there. The food is pretty good - a little slow but made with care. Good time!

Nice neighborhood bar and grill. We sat outside on a beautiful evening. They offered a few local beers and we chose two different IPAs that each had its own high points. Then we ordered the Friday fish special. Tasty catfish with hand-cut fries and slaw. It was all good except I'm not a fan of their vinegar-forward slaw. My wife likes it though. For sitting outside, we had very good service. We'll go back for a drink or sandwich.

Ok my husband and I love to go to the Goose on Tuesdays and Thursdays as it is a special on Mexican food. After going to almost every Mexican restaurant in Topeka, I must say the Goose makes the best. I love the taco salad as they deep fry the bowl and the filling is perfect. My husband loves the soft tacos and the Enchiladas. Very friendly place and very clean.

Good food, pub-like ambiance, but extraordinary service. Ariel and Brooke, in particular, are the most relentlessly cheerful wait staff I've ever encountered. Get the Willie's Burfer and onion rings. Terrific!

Great food and Staff. The owners are hard working to make there bar and grill comfortable for all.
