* george's french bistro: fancy enough to feel special, not so fancy you regret wearing jeans. * took my mom, who thought it'd be too fancy. she was ready to hate it. she didn't. progress. * she got the crêpe italien, i got the crêpe diane. both were good. like, actually good. not just "we're hungry" good. * split the pots de crème because we're cultured now. surprisingly into it. * grabbed an éclair for my grandpa (no, really). he called it "dangerous," which i think means he liked it but now it's a threat to his self-control.

The food was just okay here. I love French cuisine, but this one I didn't care for it much. The service was good but there were flies around. The food and drinks were just okay! I wouldn't go back. TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT26XuAGX/

I Loved the ambiance. Very demure. They have a lot of choices in the dishes that they offer. Even many choices with the appetizers. We chose the charcuterie board which had a nice variety. I had the crepe Joseline as my entree. I was in heaven. The seafood inside was perfect. Everyone enjoyed their dish. I will be back.

Gone two separate occasions, both for lunch. First time we ordered lyonnaise style pork with truffle frites and a french dip sandwich with truffle frites. The second time we ordered chicken salad sandwich with truffle frites, a strawberry fields salad without the goat cheese crumbles, & opera cake for dessert. Good flavorful food, everything we ordered was delicious. Friendly service. Nice clean interior. The restaurant wasn't very busy either time. Didn't have to wait long for our food. Looking forward to coming back.

Great service and adorable interior, but food was just ok. We stopped in for brunch and ordered the two eggs with croissant and fries, crepe joessiin, and pan chocolat. The croissants were buttery but insides were still cold and not sure if they were cooked all the way through. Food was overall under-seasoned and not very flavorful. Disappointed given the great reputation and buzz!

TLDR/ Food: Perfection 5/5, Service: Suburb 5/5, Ambiance: Lovely 5/5As I sat beneath the glowing orbs of light hanging ethereally over the black-tone tables and chairs, Parisian music softly played, a gentle undertone to the classical din of a traditional bistro. Rather than being overly loud the murmur of voices mixed with the sounds of drinks being made and waiters checking in with patrons gave an almost perfect background to the expertly timed meal that was presented to me and my table-mates. Traditional charcuterie and a piping hot baguette were a perfect pairing to the variety of sauces, jams and spreads that accompanied them. The menu, though not vast, had a little something for everyone. And then we dined, luxuriating in the eggy goodness of a crêpe Diane, the cheesy-salty broth of french onion soup, the sweet tang of duck à l'orange, the crispy zest of Lyonnaise style pork; enjoying all of it, served fresh and well plated. Food: 5/5 Literally everything was wonderful. I never expected French style food outside of France to taste this good. Service: Haz our server and Matt the barkeep were both stellar. I would come back and request Haz again, as he was on point in every way. Ambiance: The bistro feel was perfect. The decor and lighting made me feel as if I could look out the window and see the Rhine passing by instead of a Chinese restaurant across the street. The gold accents and deep tones really sold the vibe and the brightly lit and clean bar area really elevated the whole experience.

I was in town visiting and was recommended this amazing spot for brunch! The staff were so kind and helpful and easy to get us seated. The menu offered a variety of different options for brunch or lunch. The iced brown sugar coffee and crepe madame were hands down my favorite. I got a house made chocolate Cristal go home with and was regretting not buying more! I cannot wait to come here next time I'm in town
