Gaslight is the only theatre in the state of Oklahoma to perform Shakespeare in the Park for free. This annual event happens every June.

Gaslight is also home to the Turpin Little Theatre, a small workshop theatre. A place for new talent to take a few risks.
Founded in 1966, Gaslight Theatre has been providing Northwest Oklahoma with community theatre for over 50 years.

Such a fun and enjoyable community theater! The performances are above and beyond what you might expect for a community theater. Did not disappoint! We went to see "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" last night and it did not disappoint! Drinks and snacks in the lobby before and after for a donation. Such a charming experience with such a talented cast. Would recommend!

One of the things I appreciate about Enid is the die-hard effort to bring the rest of the world to NW Oklahoma. The Gaslight produces several shows throughout the year. They try every genre and do it on a budget. It is fun, cheap entertainment. Last summer we saw South Pacific. While it was not NYC, I appreciated a good reason to get dressed up a little and be entertained without having to go to Tulsa, OKC or Stillwater. It was a sweet production. Try it, the theatre is old but the seats are fabulous and you will probably see someone you know at intermission.
