Consumer beware for sure. My son lived there for a year on a 1 year lease. Told them before he paid last month rent he would be moving out in a month. Was initially told he would receive his deposit in 3 weeks or less. He never received anything. He called them several times and talked with both the old AND new management (management underwent a change around the time he moved out) who ensured he was getting his deposit back..never any indication to the contrary. Basically got the "check's in the mail" story the last time he called, yet has still never received it. When we went in to inquire and maybe finally get somewhere on getting his deposit back, the management on site initially tried to say he didn't give a 30 day notice (he did...old management.) Later on, tried to change her story by saying he left "trash" (he didn't, and his sister even checked over the apartment before him leaving and said "No way he left trash"). The manager we were dealing with tried to say he was sent a notice on July 29 saying as such (he got no such notice). Interesting that before AND after the 29th, NO ONE from management mentioned the alleged notice or gave ANY indication that he WASN'T getting the deposit back. He even talked to THIS SAME MANAGER (name withheld) 3 times on the phone and she assured him each time that the deposit would be sent. There was NEVER a mention of anything about "no 30 day notice" or "trash". Furthermore, she accused me of being "threatening" (I wasn't. I'm not a violent or threatening person. I suspect she just didn't want to deal with me as she has better luck intimidating a 23 year old on his own). It is pathetic that a management company operates in such a dishonest way, and is willing to treat a 23 year old student this way when he WAS a good renter. Furthermore, they were eager to throw the last management company "under the bus" as well as my son for $150 gain. Steer clear of this place.
