Frontier Spirits

First time visiting this place as we were in town for Memorial Day weekend. Very clean place, staff were very friendly and helpful, and a fantastic variety/selection! Definitely will come back when we visit JC again!

This is the best liquor store in town. They keep their store stocked with my favorite wine. I go to the drive through window, pay and they load my car. It has been great to have this type of service during the pandemic. I highly recommend this store!!

Oh my gosh! What a crazy great place to find spirits! The focus on the customer is awesome too. We found 'rare' spirits here - absinthe, Blanton's and Eagle's Rare. They take special orders and fulfill if their distribution can obtain. Their prices were in line with expectations, but the KS state taxes are insane! Just short of asking for your first born male..... but, we got the goods here. YAY!

Most of the liquor stores in JC are pretty limited but this place has a really good selection! I went in for some basics and a present for the other half. I don't really know anything about scotch but the clerk was really knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all my questions and was genuinely interested in what I needed. I will definitely be going back.

Nice wine selections, lots to choose from. Didnt check out the beer cave or hard stuff, but it looked good. Separate little room for cigarettes. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Been going to this store for years, weekly, to get my carton of smokes and bottle. Swore by this place forever.A few months ago, they started either being out of cartons for my brand of cigs, have to put one together, or I'd get the last one. At first I accepted this. They told me construction workers are buying them up. Fair enough. Months later, they still have not adjusted their inventory to accommodate this. I was told their cigs come in on Thursdays. I go in every Monday or Tues, depending on the week. So in 4 days, they are out of cartons for my brand of cigs and down to only a few packs and don't have enough to even put a carton together. EVERY SINGLE WEEK. They told me "those who buy cartons just know to come in on Thursdays and get them" which really did not sit well with me. Frustration finally boiled over and I asked at what point they increase their order/inventory. They told me in a sarcastic tone "when a customer asks us to".Good business practice would be for whoever does their inventory to see this trend, and up their order so that they don't run out of cartons AND packs in 4-5 days after they get their order in. Good business practice would be the employees letting the inventory person know that "hey, we keep running out quickly - maybe we should up the order". You'd think they would WANT to do that so that their business can be as successful and as profitable as possible. It should not be a customer responsibility to run their business. I like to think I was a valued customer spending roughly $400/mo ($500/mo on months with 5 weeks). Guess not. I'm a one stop shop guy so when you lose me on the cig side you also lose me on the liquor side. I may pay a little bit more elsewhere but I'd gladly pay more to not have to deal with this every single week. Heck, I'd drive to Manhattan if I knew I could do a one stop shop for both.There was a point I'd tell ANYONE to go here and hyped this place up but now, the experience I share with others won't be so positive.I don't typically write reviews for things that are out of someone's control or at all really, it takes a lot for me to do so but this is fully within their control and their attitude toward me when I ask about increasing their inventory does not help. Apparently my $400-$500/mo doesn't matter much to them. So your value as a customer and your $ probably won't either.

Terrible. Rude cashiers, unwelcoming atmosphere. Most definitely lost my business. I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

Wish they would go back to letting me decide to wear a mask or not i will not be forced to wear one so i will not longer go there sadly. They always seem to have my Mike's where other stores dont. but i cant give them a good star till they go back to the way they were

Drive through!!! Seriously this wins me over! So convenient when you have children. They always have great service and a good selection.

A fine liquor store, I'm here to tell ya.Nice selection of craft beers. Many different varieties of liquor that aren't the usual fair. They have some quality whiskeys and rums, at a fair price mind you.The staff is very good. Friendly people who work the registers and always ask if you neeed help finding something. All in all, excellent selection, excellent staff, excellent liquor store.Hit it up some time if you get thirsty.
