Great breakfast place! Everyone's eggs were cooked perfectly, yummy Belgian waffle, fried potatoes and toast all great. I ordered a cinnamon roll to go and once I tasted it, I wished I had gotten two!Friendly service, nice people, good food!

We came looking specifically for the bierocks because it is known to be a favorite food in Kansas. We had a warm welcome from our wonderful server, Margaret, who shared some history of this adorable town. The restaurant is in a cute house across the street from the City Park, which was also fun to visit. We loved the bierocks, the Kansas broccoli salad, and the cinnamon rolls. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Decided to take a day trip to Wizard of Oz Museum, followed the yellow brick road and ended up here for lunch. Friendly service, fresh baked goods and tasty sandwiches. Definitely recommend if you're looking for cozy atmosphere with speedy service.

I am traveling for work and wanted to see the famous yellow brick road. I saw several people coming in and out of the restaurant so decided to stop in and eat too. They had a muffin sample - strawberry and banana that was seriously so good. I ordered a breakfast burrito and you get three add ons . It was huge! Got bacon egg potato jalapeño red pepper and cheese and being from Texas didn't have a huge expectation. Y'all!!! It was one of the best i have had. Barely made a dent in it but you can bet I'll be finishing it up later. Service was great. Inside was super cute.

So we were tooling around the small town, having been drawn there for obvious reasons when the yellow brick road let us here. I had what was quite possibly the best pecan roll. I've ever had here. My friend had one of their famous peanut butter rolls, and was not disappointed. But the service was the friendliest in Kansas. if you are in this little town, I highly recommend you find this place, and if you drive through, stop

I have been eating at this restaurant for years and have yet to have a bad experience. Their specials are always fantastic but one of their best dishes in my opinion is their French toast. You'll definitely want to add whip cream and strawberries to this! Their bakery is amazing and I cannot resist getting some cinnamon rolls before leaving. The service is always attentive and kind. The restaurant itself is inside a historic home which makes you feel like you're back at your grandmother's house. Next time you're in Wamego, make sure you stop here!

We followed the yellow brick road to the Friendship House, which lives up to its name and exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend anything in the bakery (the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie was so divine, we ordered a second one) and the lobster Mac & Cheese (Friday special) was indescribably delicious. Barb was our friendly server and we would return again!

My husband and I stopped in here after visiting The Oz Museum. What a good decision. I had the Grecian stuffed burger and cucumber salad and it was delicious. The burger was cooked perfectly, the buns were homemade and the cucumber salad was perfect on this hot day. My husband had the same, but with potato salad. We also took some fresh baked cookies to go and had a couple on the way home to Wichita. They were soft and chewy, just the way we like them. The cookies seemed to be very popular, as there were many customers ordering them as we were waiting to pay our bill. Employees were accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend stopping in here for lunch if you're in the area.
