Fort Hays Inn

4 star for a place to stay for WORK. Stayed here for about a month while working nearby. Friendly owners/staff. Yes rooms are a bit dated but most motels are, the rooms are very comfortable, has all the basic motel amenities you need, rooms are spacious, bathrooms are too. Good tv package & good wifi, had a recliner in my room, bed was comfortable with lots of pillows! Really tuff to beat the value for the price here on a weekly basis, not sure about nightly rates. A couple good places to eat within walking distance, & Walgreens right next door. The ice & laundry machines were out of order while I was there. Had a few issues getting room service but that got worked out after speaking to front desk. I would stay here again for work!

We needed a place to sleep for three hours. Every other hotel around was over $100. I know it's cheap but don't do it. Just call me and I'll loan you $50. The hotel smell like snail smoke. The rug was filthy with stains. The sheets were dingy. The curtains and lamp shades were dirty. The bath tub did not drain. The face towels were brown. I wouldn't stay there for an hour.

For the PRICE I love this place. Friendly service. Clean rooms with tv and internet. Great parking. Nice, affordable place to stay while traveling!

I made a reservation online and when I arrived they informed me that they could not rent a room to someone under 25 (I'm 23). The policy is not the problem but it needs to advertised and it was not
