Sloppy messy substandard Flying J, especially annoying when I had to go out of my way to get here. Gallons of diesel standing in concrete but pump, leaking fill nozzle, obscenely overpriced DEF, don't bother with this dump.

Had to get some diesel, so here we are pulling into Flying Eagle. The truck parking looks nice as it should be for $10.00 parking. There is also air available on the side of the building. I believe that the air cost $1.50, and now to enter the store.First, I was greeted when I entered by the cashier, a young lady with long black hair who seemed to be busy on her phone. Now, off to find the restrooms, I found two of them. One is also the only shower room and the other is a unisex bathroom. Both looked pretty clean, the unisex restroom could been swept better. Other than that, they were okay. Back out onto the store floor, I noticed that the store looked spacious, clean and had a very nice layout. My husband wanted a ham and cheese sandwich and since he was still fueling the truck and can wait, I was free to look around. I grabbed some taffy and was wishing that the "Go! Taco" eatery was open inside for more options. I'm sure it's temporarily shut down during COVID-19.The only ham and cheese sandwich I found was in the cooler by the fountain. So, I grabbed two of them just in time to see my husband paying for his fuel at the front register. He then paid for the food I had and we headed to the microwave. The cashier, never said a word and went right back to her phone. When we opened the package, it had a croissant bun. I looked again at the front of the wrapper and saw that I had picked out ham, egg and cheese croissants. Does this place not have any cold regular sandwiches? What kind of madness is going on here? When we were leaving, wondering why we didn't get a drink, we saw it! To the left of the entrance is a tall cooler that had in big letters "Cold Food". Now, how in the world did I miss that? They had sandwiches, long subs among other items up for purchase, and here we are leaving with little croissant sandwiches for dinner. After getting back in the truck and starting to eat, I read over all the reviews. Finding out that when you fill up with diesel, you can get a fountain drink and a shower for free! Really? It would've been nice if the phone girl would've gotten off that phone and said something!! In any case, if you're reading THIS review you'll be more well informed. They also have a Roady Reward card too if you want it. Peace out people and stay safe!

Kitchen Closed... I knew about the $10 for parking.. But came here for the food that was supposed to be good..Only to be told that the Kitchen is closed at 2:30 in the afternoon..Not worth the $10 for parking.. Should've stayed at the Love's in McPherson..I definitely will not be stopping here again..

Very good food, friendly staff and I happened to meet the owner who was very nice. Maybe keep the kitchen open a little bit later so I can grab food after supper?

So i run outta gas on the interstate but was lucky enough to have coasted off the interstate to the flying eagle gas station. I think,"whew, that was close!" only to find that they wont sell me any gas cuz they werent selling any gas at that time. It was 8:30 at night. They were open. Just not selling gas. They had gas, but wouldnt sell any of it to me. My wife had to drive in from the next town over to bring me a gas can. I pass this gas station every day on my way to work, and have had numberous negative incidences with them, but nothing of this caliber.
