Floral & Hearty Diner

My husband I were recommended this diner when we moved here a few months ago and we finally got there before they closed. So happy we did. We were greeted by multiple staff members and actually waited on by a new waiter. Service was great. He went up and beyond for us. We always ask what's a best seller at a new spot. He did give us some options but because he was new he had a waitress that had been there longer chime in. My husband got the garlic bacon burger. Flavor was on point. I got the cowboy burger it has pulled pork on it, an onion ring, and bbq sauce. Very good. Hand cut fries just like home. And I even added a trip to the salad bar for 3.99 huge variety. Sundays they have a bfast buffet until 11 I believe. When I asked for a side a mayo the waiter said all he found was miracle whip. I don't like it so I declined. He then went on a hunt and actually found mayo. Great customer service. We will Def be returning.

Not the best food in my opinion, they are trying, servers are super cool and stay busy. It may have been my expectation on what I was getting versus what I got, was not an appealing looking dish and honestly the hash browns tasted burnt.No flavors, very bland. Cooks need to learn seasoning!

Terrific food like mom used to make. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff are friendly, and the food is terrific. The prices are reasonable.

Wootown definitely needs more eatery's and I really like diners. However this diner has great intentions but falls short on its basic stuff and it's sad. I came in and it's all you can eat catfish night. I had steak which was not really good at all. My order was wrong but after 30 mins waiting I didn't wanna wait longer. Floor was really dirty and booths seats not comfortable at all. Probably won't revisit.

Always looking for a good place to eat in woodward when I am here but this is not the place. Went for lunch today and both my and my wife's chicken fried steaks were so full of gristle they were inedible. The only food fit to eat were the french fries. Avoid this place or don't order the CFS!

This is the very first bad review I have ever left for a business because I am not one to complain, but this situation blew my mind. And for the record, the star from the one star rating is entirely for the waitress we had!The waitress we had was phenomenal. she was very friendly, never let our drinks get low, and was very knowledgeable about the menu items. The salad bar was well stocked with a variety of choices. We did have to wait a little while for our food to arrive, though. I ordered the Oklahoma Mud Burger. It was an open-faced burger on Texas toast with provolone cheese, and it was topped with brown gravy and sautéed onions. It looked delicious, however, it was anything but. The second my plate was placed in front of me, I could smell something very unappetizing. After a few minutes of inspection, I realized the gravy had gone sour and was spoiled. Just smelling it made me sick, and I had to excuse myself to the bathroom to vomit. Everyone at the table could smell how bad it was. We called the waitress over to let her know this was not edible. She was extremely kind, and immediately took the plate back to be taken care of. I requested a bacon cheeseburger as a replacement instead of being served with the same dish again. It didn't take very long for that to be served, but I had already lost my appetite. I took it to go instead. Everything was great for the rest of my party, and the desert they ordered was very tasty. But, when it came time to pay the check, we had been charged for 5 entrees instead of just four. We asked the waitress why we were charged for both the mud burger and the second bacon cheeseburger. She stated that she understood our frustration, but management would not allow her to remove the returned meal from our ticket. She stated that she could remove the meal and just pay for it herself since we didn't eat it, as management would take it out of her check/tips. We told her absolutely not. She did not deserve to have to pay for something that had been returned. Not a single person from management would even come speak to us or try to remedy the situation. We paid out for the entire bill that was charged, tipped our waitress very generously for the great service and selflessness she exhibited for offering to make our ticket right by paying the difference out of her own pocket, and then left. We will not be returning there again. I hope our waitress has the opportunity to find employment elsewhere at an establishment that takes pride in the food they serve, has a desire to make things right, and has management that does not expect their waitresses to have to take up the slack out of their own pocket when products are subpar. That's just unacceptable!

We absolutely love going here. There is a super fresh salad bar. Chicken fried steak in 3 sizes, large ...so big my husband had leftovers! Small and senior citizens size..the senior size is perfect if you don't want leftovers to take home ( and if you are over 55 ) I had the German potatoes one time...which is fried potatoes with onions, one time I had the baked potato ( theirs aren't huge but really good ) and the mashed potatoes and gravy one time...all were super. everything on the menu seems very reasonably priced, esoecislly since many of their meals include one or two sides and the salad bar! They are super busy on Friday and Saturday night so I suggest going here the first time on a week night or for lunch. I haven't tried the hot bar but I do notice people ordering it so I'm guessing it's good too. Someone mentioned the booth seats. They are too tall for me and not padded very well but I think they can improve on this as they go along.
