The Flamingo Lounge

Talk about being caught off guard. I used to live in Enid but never been here before and I have to say I was shocked. Limited gravel parking and the entrance looks like a gymnasium door but don't let that deter you, this place is alright in my book. The bartender, waitress, even the cook was welcoming and lively! The lounge itself had plenty of patrons as they should because the prices were just right, the food was fresh, made in a timely manner, and it was good and filling! I got a double meat double cheeseburger all the way and an order of fries. Large portions all for under $11. I need them to move to the ATL because for the amount of food at that price I was in heaven before the first bite. The food though was where it was at. Fully cooked and salted fries, it matters more than you think and that burger took me a solid 30 minutes to eat because each bite was as good as the first, I just kept savoring it. 5/5 all the way!

These cheeseburgers SLAP. Easily one of the best cheese burgers I've ever had. Simple. Nothing special about it which is what makes it special. Just what a burger should be. I will be back to eat here whenever I am back working in Enid. Love little local spots like this. Atmosphere is exactly what it should be.Edit to the original review: this place is just awesome. Burgers are incredible. Wish I could give it 10 stars. And I wish there was a Flamingo in OKC.

Simply wow ! The food is fresh and ridiculously delicious. Brittany is noting shy of amazing and her right hand woman Lexis is fire . She is fast and professional. She and Brittany are an amazing team ! They work fast and seamless. Amazing team ! It's been 7 months since our last stop. I have been missing this amazing place ! Let me not get started on the ambiance ! The fun and rustic old 70'- 80's feel is blast from the past ! I love it !! We will keep coming back!! Thank you again to Flamingo's !!

The hamburgers are the best in town. The ambience is pleasant. Service awesome. Their chili is quite good also

Best chili burger I've ever had! Stopped at this place on our way to visit Gloss Mtn. and so glad we did. Worth the stop!

Service was great. The hamburger meat looked like a frozen patty from Tyson. Not juicy nor flavorful.

This bar and grill has been an icon in Enid as far back as I can remember. I couldn't wait to be old enough to go in and get a beer and burger.Years later, I visited and took my husband so he could enjoy the famous chili burger. I even bought a t-shirt! The prices are really reasonable. I would come here before going to a chain for a burger. The beer is cold, the pool tables are ready for you to drop by and shoot a game or two. There was even a sign on the table boasting a hot link sandwich special.This go around, my sister and I took dad. He really enjoyed the chili burger. My sister left the chili and onions of of hers. I had a large glass of tea this visit. Next time I come in, I'm going to work KY way through the menu!

Used to go here as a kid and it was always good or okay. The new owners made this place even better. I love it and my family loves it.

This is my favorite place in town to grab a burger. It's cheap, its yummy, and I love the "dive" atmosphere. The staff is so friendly, and the service is always good.

I went there last night.The food was hot, fresh and was amazing. The service was "okay" My server was nice at first then after she didn't em like she didn't want to be there. Made me feel like she didn't want to serve me, and I don't like feeling unwanted when I go out to eat. Which is sad because it was my first time here and it honestly might be my last. First impressions are everything to me and this was a bad first impression.I had to wait over five minutes for a new drink. I noticed my waitress was short lipped with the cook, and gave her attitude and I'm not going to lie if that was me I would have walked out. But the cook ignored her after a while, which seemed to upset my waitress more. There was heavy tension in there last night, and I feel like they really need to talk it out. As I was eating my boyfriend pointed towards the cook and server again and I saw the cooks back to the server while she was on the phone obviously upset. And the server yelled at her then stormed out - leaving us behind. A few moments later I went outside to grab my wallet and noticed my server talking mad crap about the cook. Something about not doing her job and how she is this and that. And I don't feel like that is right. So in short if that is how she talks about workers I can only imagine what she says about customers that upset her. I'm not coming back, and I honestly don't recommend anyone else to come back either. They need to work out whatever is going on away from customers, because her walking out on all of us was unprofessional and unacceptable. If I was the manager she would have been written up.
