I was given a referral to the store, and I've been very happy with their service and their product. They've been happy to share their experience and make suggestions, when I had questions.I appreciate their hours also. It makes it easy to get up to N. 37th St.

I come here to buy dubia roaches for our bearded dragon. They breed their own roaches and I completely trust the health of the roaches - some feeder insects bought at pet stores carry nasty germs and parasites. Since they breed their own, they are cheaper than ordering online. I took off one star only because I have hard time with stores selling animals, which they do. All the animals habitats are clean, the animals look healthy and well cared for, and the staff seems quite knowledgeable. So for a place selling live animals, they seem to be doing it as conscientiously as you could hope for.

I use their online store for bugs all the time. They are delivered fast, live and you always get more than you paid for. The owner is active on the Facebook page and does a lot for the local community as well as the reptile community. I absolutely would recommend these guys to anyone wanting pets or pet supplies.

I've been to this store several times and have never had a bad experience with them! I regularly purchase my feeders from them as they have the beat prices in Wichita, and I even purchased my first snake from them.Highly recommend!

About a week ago, my boyfriend and I went in to look into purchasing a snake. We found a couple that we wanted to look at, however the teenage girl acted like we were stupid. It started off as when we came in, she ran into the back on her phone. She didn't come back out but to look to see if we were still there. Noticing we lingered at a specific snake, she looked at us as if we were crazy for taking such an interest in it. Not once did she say a single word to us. Now, I have worked in pet stores. I know that they typically make commission. I know that you get an eye for who would typically be a serious customer. But when the store is tiny and you only have one couple there, how hard is it to come talk to them?? It's not. This girl obviously didn't see us as serious customers. I think it's because we both are fairly young and look like it as well. This was our first time at Exotic Pets, and I can assure you it will be the last!! The animals were all beautiful and looked very well taken care of. But why does it matter how good the store looked if the workers don't give a damn about customers? How will these pets find their forever homes if there is not a worker in sight? I'm only giving one star because I can not give zero, and the animals are so beautiful. There was a specific snake that wasn't for sale that we really wanted to inquire about to learn when it would be. We couldn't do this due to the teenage girl playing on her phone and FaceTiming some dude the whole time!! Retail isn't hard people. I would NEVER recommend this place!! DO NOT COME HERE.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Every single employee that works there needs an attitude check and a lesson with customer service. Will never go back to this store. Note: This is for the west location I have not yet been to the east location.

Such a cool place to go!!! Was a great experience. It was really awesome inside and the employees were super helpful! The owner was one the nicest people I've met. Definitely recommend coming here!

Fist impression were good since it's really beautifully designed inside. Only complaint is that everything is overpriced

Don't bother ordering from EPW online because their online inventories are not real. That said, it's very misleading for any businesses to be offering products that they can't ship.
