Emporia Rv Park & Campground

This place has seemingly many more amenities than others is the Wichita area. It offers toilets, showers, a pay laundry facility, a little beat up basketball hoop, frisbee golf things, a swing set, small pond ( maybe for fishing ? ), a sewage lagoon and spotty wi-fi. I'm told they offer cable tv too, but my camper does not have a television, so there's that. You may notice the occasional train horn and freeway noise, as it's right off I-35, but I just put on some headphones at bedtime and everything was just fine. The park has many different lots, some pull through and some not. But most that I have seen have power, water and sewer. As others have said, there is a restaurant ( Huddle House ) next to the Flying J / Pilot gas station on the other side of I-35. I'm headed there next. All in all, probably worth a stop for a night or two.

Conveniently located neat 1-35 and the railroad. Plenty of noise if ou like that. On the high end on price and I'm not sure why. I guess as they say " charge what the market will bear". So $35 a night. Nice shower and hook ups.

This is a very small RV park off the interstate. No real amenities, Wi-Fi so slow it never works, they are super strict about just about everything, no fire pits or grills. Against a bunch of trees, but very little shade. Keep going another hour to a nicer place.

This place is ridiculous. A couple that stayed next to us had issues with the RV so they had to leave it at home and use tents instead. They rented an RV spot but after the manager saw them setting up tents, she wanted to charge them extra for some reason even though they aren't using sewer or electric. I'll avoid this place next DK.

Way to expensive for what it is. Me and a buddy went camping here for what was planned to be 3 days, we were never told it was $45 for each night. One of the workers walked up to our tent and told us we had to pay for another night. We quickly agreed we would rather sleep in the truck than pay $45 again. The lady got really mad and expressed she was mad that we already stayed for half the day already. Basically, one of the ladies here wasnt very kind and definitely not worth $45 per night

Been staying here for awhile paying every week as they do not have a monthly fee. Our week was up on the 7th of November and decided on the 6th to pay for another week should of waited. Working for the railroad you never know so After we decide to pay early for another week they call and tell us to be somewhere next day. We go to front desk to ask about a refund since our time wasn't actually up til next day but we went ahead and paid for a week they said call Charlotte Pinnick and ask her she said sorry no refunds even though we were paid til 7th! What the hell kind of business is this place running for the working person! They should understand that things come up and change with no control to us paying customers! Probably won't be back. Never been somewhere where they absolutely won't work with you and we have been all over this was the worst experience!!

I travel for work and I found this nice little campground very close to where I was working very easy to find just off the interstate friendly and helpful staff full hookups laundry facility not the biggest but a great find in my book

I might as well review this so called rv park, I can't watch tv ,there is no cable , sites are a gamble if you get 50 amp or not, the wifi is non existing, talk about false advertising! Whoever engineered this place was ether high or 2 years old, the sites look like a rat maze.Now that I have stayed here 1 hour I feel like I should have hitchhiked and slept under a bridge with the local homeless. I would love to give someone 5 bucks to bulldoze this place ! I can only hope and pray that the city of Emporia condemns this property and improves it by making it a city landfill. Run... Run as fast as you can don't stop here . Save your money.

My stay began by being treated to a rude and hostile rant by "Brandy". She accused me of failing to register - she had not checked the two voice mails I left, just waded in and started chewing me out. No customer should be treated that way. The place is acceptable, if run down a bit. Bring earplugs - the trucks and train nearby are loud. Or better yet - don't stay there.

This place is convenient to I 35, but seriously over priced. They have a Good Sam logo in the office, but do not give a Good Sam's discount. The office does not open until 4 PM and closes at 7 PM. The lady at the desk had a very unpleasant disposition. Consider by-passing for another location.
