Local sports pub located in old town.We were greeted by the bartender Shelby, who was very nice. We are visitors to Wichita and she was able to recommend some other local spots to visit afterwards. We tried some local beers and had the pickle chips for a snack, which were delicious. There is an abundance of televisions to watch sports, and every Sunday football game was on.

Came in for wings and some drinks with a friend after the gym. I'd say the buffalo sauce was pretty good but it didn't wow me. Probably Frank's so can't complain there. Wish the wings were a bit crispier and hotter. The wings came out lukewarm. The bluecheese added a cooling and creamy component to the flavor profile.Cheers!

The food is good here, but don't come here if you want to watch sports. They will not turn on the sound for a game and will play sad music.... How is this a sports bar? We asked both our server and the manager, Alex, and he said he wouldn't turn on the sound for any game besides the KU K State game. You might as well take yourself to another sports bar if you're looking for a better experience. Side note- our server, Sarah, was really nice and accommodating.

This place is definitely worth going to at least once for happy hour- the food is good not great- but many items were tasty- and the drinks aren't bad- we ordered lots of appetizers- the mozzarella balls were amazing- the wings were also great- I would pass on the corn dogs next time and the pretzel- and the southwest type egg roll there was no chicken in it

Was told that we we're not allowed due to "dress code" cause of sweat pants on a freezing temperature night by the two guy's at the door. (note that girls we're getting in free tonight as well). The guys at the door we're dressed like a bum to begin with, and there was people inside there wearing sweats as well, the place had at least the front area (roughly 7-8 tables) that we're empty, and they still said we weren't allowed in (with a charge of 10$/guy).I can understand it being busy, but turning down free $20 to just get in, plus probably another 30-40$ + tip for food/drinks on an dead night, what kind of business practice is this. Also turning us away due to sweatpants even though other guests we're dressed the same, and whats with the double standard of the employees dressed like a bum, but "certain" guests cant Only reason I'm upset/frustrated about it was that it seemed like he was picking/choosing who gets in. Either everyone follows it including ALL guests & employees or this establishment cannot be taken seriously as a business.I understand they can choose who to let in, but i hope this review deters people from ever going.

Love coming here and having Morgan as our waitress. She is always so nice and comes by frequently. I have never been left unattended even while busy. She is definetly top! Come here quite often and make sure I get her top service!!! That girls needs a raise!

If you are looking for good food DO NOT eat here! Even after speaking with the waitress, who said she spoke with the manager, there was no adjustment on our bill, which was pricey:Burgers are like cardboard.But drinks/chips and salsa are somewhat edible.

Extremely disappointed. The bartender falsely accused me of having a fake ID and illegally confiscated my property (my ID). Refused to have a discussion with me, and told me I needed to call the police in order for him to give it back to me. I LITERALLY had to call the Wichita police department to come mediate the situation. After waiting about 45 minutes for the police to arrive, another manager arrived at the restaurant and basically checked the ID, noticed it wasn't fake and came over and apologized for the situation. He then offered for me to come get 1/2 price drinks Friday, but absolutely no compensation for wasting my time or our city resources. The next time you have a minor emergency, and the police take forever, thank Emerson Biggins. I'm looking at filing an official complaint with the city and Better Business Bureau.I visited the location on August 22, 2023 at around 6 PM.

does nothing about vaping inside. A whole group of people were vaping. There were children in the restaurant. The waitress said it always happens at Emerson's.

My friend and I went to try out this place and have some drinks. Each time we had a round we didn't know if that was our last so we paid each time, but some for some reason the guy bar tender got annoyed with us and cut us off early?!. I asked nicely for some water before we head out, and he responded " nah go F off, go find other bar" when we did nothing wrong? I don't judge people but he seem like a bad bean. Alex was his name I believe and I appreciate if y'all would rate this place poorly for this common bad experience. -Apr 2022
