El Patio Restaurant

One of my husband's favorite lunch places. He loves the salsa. The service is quick. Staff is friendly. Parking is right out front. They will give each person a mild salsa and then a dish of a hotter o e to mix in.

So the puffy taco was great. The flautas we're ok. The white queso was great but felt high for what you got. And then the regular salsa was bland. The restaurant is tiny but it was all in all pretty good.

Sadly, we went last night, and the doors were locked at 4:45. This is the second time this has happened to us. El Patio, please change your hours if you are not going to stay open until 5pm.

Nice ambiance, but not that best I have had. 3- at most. Loved our waiter because he tries. Food is bland. Ordered the chile verde. Had better. Appetizer (calamari) wasnt that good. Flour tortilla tasted a little burnt. I was only impressed with my friend's chicken dish. Friend's taco looked ok. Price was average.

The homemade tortillas are to die for!! If could afford to eat here multiple times a week I would.

The beans and rice didn't really have flavor. The enchiladas had a very strong taste of onion and nothing else. The salsa and chips were good. Not very busy but really slow service.

My fave Mexican Restaurant in Wichita. Love the pork gorditas.. Seasoning on everything is on point. Love the beans and rice, mix the hot and mild salsa for the perfect level of heat.

Went in because I read about it on a foodie site on facebook. We got the Monterrey and a burrito. Neither of us liked our food and I had leftovers and did not take them home. Will not go back.

El Patio is a small restaurant with great food and service. We like the fried flour tacos, puffy tacos (roast beef or chicken usually) and the horchata. They close at 5PM so only available for lunch or a very early dinner. Worth checking out for sure!

very yum! & good price! went during lunch hours & it wasn't a long wait thankfully. the inside is small but those are the best places!
