El Charro Restaurant

Friendly staff. Fast service and food was great too. The salsa was puréed and reminded me of Spanish Garden type salsa. The fajitas were excellent and the chips and salsa were good too. A variety of hot sauces including one they made in house. Corn tortillas tasted like mostly flour (to me) but were still good.

Delicious. Finally the family business is back to the perfect El Charro flavor. Really enjoyed my combination plate lunch with my Mom. Exceptional quality for price point.

My favorite place to eat! I've been eating at El Charro's for over 40 years and it is still the best Mexican food around.

The service was good however, the food was not. The tortillas tasted day old..not fresh. The lettuce on the tacos looked like it was previously frozen. The presentation alone just turned me off. I went to EL Rodeo the night before and that food was way better. Save your $$

Went during dodge city days! Pretty good food! Great staff. Was wonderful for accommodating my service dog!

By far the worst dining experience I have ever had. Food was subpar, but the customer service was atrocious. We ordered two types of queso & they brought out the yellow queso with a layer of film on it so we kindly asked for a new queso. Our waiter grabbed the queso & as he was dumping it out he told us that was the last of the yellow queso for the night (it was 6pm on a Saturday night). All of the food came out lukewarm and when the checks came out... we saw that they had charged us twice for the white queso they brought out after the yellow queso was dumped that we thought was complimentary for the inconvenience. The waiter then proceeded to argue with us at the table over the $5 queso, and eventually slammed our cards on the table and raised his voice at us to tell us we could "run our cards ourselves"! At the front, the manager continued to argue with us for a while, only to finally admit that they had misunderstood something and she finally took off the queso. Go somewhere else and get a margarita!

One of our all-time favorites! The atmosphere was perfect with authentic Spanish music like you would hear at Epcot! I can never get enough of their salsa. We sometimes get it to go with a large bag of chips. My favorite has always been the taco burger. Their ground beef is delicious with just the right amount of seasoning. My husband always gets one of their large burritos. Definitely a crowd pleaser!

El Charro has always been my favorite Mexican Restaurant. I make a special detour just to pass through Dodge City to eat here when I'm traveling back home to SW. KS. This place will always be my favorite. Favorite menu items-chicken enchiladas, gorditas, and now these items pictured here .
