El As De Oros

Was visiting P Burg for the first time and tried this place. The dining room is huge and very festive. Looks like it used to be a grocery store. My wife and I both had margaritas, which were good and strong. I had shrimp tacos ( very good), and she had a burrito, which she said was good. The wait staff was friendly, a bit odd, because we had three different guys come ask for our order, then none of them let us know how to pay. We never got a ticket and had to go pay at the register. I trusted the ticket was correct. But, all in all, quite tasty.

Ok I changed it 5 stars. After traveling back through town, we found this restaurant the only real option one night. I'm glad we did because it was amazing, so amazing we went back the next day for the exact same results. Mediocre Mexican food at best, BUT not a lot of options in this town. Good luck if you stop there. Also the other service reviews are accurate.

Walked in and left after 10 mins standing waiting for a table. Two employees looked at us, walked away and didn't say a word. If you're busy, at least stop and say we'll be right with you. Nothing. One waks right past us to cash out a customer that we're leaving several mins after we got there and didn't even look at us. I'll likely never be back to this town but if I were to return, I won't stop here.

I ordered tamales and chips and queso. It was fantastic. It's what I would expect from a small town texmex restaurant.

the food was nasty chips were soggy soft salsa was watery as crap and the tacos were nasty! You would have a much more enjoyable experience and meal across the street at subway.

Stopped on our way through town! Was a wonderful idea as the ambiance and place was super cute. Delicious food!

Authentic Mexican food in the Kansas! Always willing to give Mexican restaurants a try...being a first born American from a Mexican family not all Mexican restaurants live up to expectations. De Oros definitely met all bats in true Mexican food ! Strati g with the salsa and tostaditas to their beans and rice! The fajitas suizas were on cueI am curious how the restaurant got started in Kansas

Never disappointed with the food, I always end up getting Molcajete Tropical. Always seated within 2 mins of walking in the door definitely recommend.
