Eighth Day Books

I absolutely adore this bookstore. I'm very picky about my books and bookstores, but this place is heaven. They have a wonderful selection of deep, thought provoking books. The staff is so kind.

After deciding to look at bookstores I found this treasure. It's a smaller place with books wall to wall. I found a couple of Cherokee related books and thought I would pick them up.

This is the most unique and beautiful bookstore I have ever stepped foot in. So many different kinds of books on different floors of the bookstore. There's a lot to look at. I loved all the icons around the store. So glad I stopped in while visiting Wichita.

I've never visited in person but they are super easy to deal with online. They have great deals on books from different Christian traditions, especially Orthodoxy. I'm not an Orthodox Christian myself but I love getting their beautiful bookmarks with quotes from Orthodox saints and theologians when I order from them. Highly recommended!

This book store is a pilgrimage for me. I bought 20 books. As I left I remembered I hadn't driven and had to find a way to fly home with them do I had to buy a backpack.

I enjoy my time in this bookstore and look forward to conversing with the staff. There is no book they cannot get, and the depth of their understanding of literature lends itself to apt suggestions for further reading.

This is the best bookstore in Wichita and - dare I propose - the entire US. I've ventured into similar bookstores in other parts of the nation, and nothing compares. Although the seller specializes in religious themed texts (especially Eastern Christianity), the sections with literature and poetry are also very well stocked. Plus, they have a great kids section, and I'm a huge fan of children's books!Aside from books, this is THE place to get the most beautiful Icons... seriously, I wouldn't even know where else to go. I'm slowly building my collection, and I'm really looking forward to getting my next Icon from Eighth Day Books!

Excellent book store. Some of the hard to find stuff is quite expensive, but the had the Tactics by Greg Koukl book I was looking for as a gift. Knowledgeable and helpful staff and owner.

Great variety of Christian works, from a broad range of traditions. Higher than average prices for a mom and pop type book store, but the staff are very good at helping you find what you're looking for as well as what you didn't even know you wanted...but do.
