Stopped by for lunch as we've been craving rice. This was my first time in. They only have two tables so to go is probably your best bet. Don't worry, they have ridiculously comfy chairs you can sit in while you wait. The lady at the counter was very nice and answered our questions about the menu. We ordered cashew chicken, egg rolls, shrimp roll, combo and pork fried rice. Hands down, great food! I noticed that they have pho and banh mih so I will be trying those in the future.

Maybe I just got the wrong thing? It was overall good but not the best I've had in the area. General's chicken: Normal spice is good. I could go extra spicy for my personal taste, but I can see why many report the normal spice is spicy. Compared to other general dishes from other restaurants I would say it's a small notch spicier. Flavor was good and it's very garlic heavy, which I love garlic, so it's not a deterrent. Sweet and sour chicken: Even by the end of the meal the chicken remained crispy which is a plus. I found the sweet and sour sauce to be not great. I had to taste it several times to determine that there was far too much vinegar to my liking. You almost didn't get any sweet flavor. I ate the chicken plain. Almost positive they use thigh meat to maintain moisture in the chicken, and I believe they use the velveting technique for it as well-- standard and smart.Egg rolls: This is going to sound controversial because...well they're called Egg Roll Express. It's in the name. But the egg rolls lacked a little bit of seasoning. I think with just a little more salt it would take them from average to great. The fry on them was nice, the ratios of vegetables to meat was good, but they were juuuust missing something. I'm also a pure loyalist to the egg rolls from Fried Rice. We always order extra in our home-- they're that good. So my biggest advice is if Egg Roll Expresses doesn't do it for you, go check out Fried Rice. They're not the prettiest egg rolls, but they are GOOD. But I digress. Ham fried rice: Tons of ham or maybe spam? I couldn't tell. Good, would eat again. No weird flavor absorbed from the wok or cooking equipment that sometimes I taste in other fried rices from other restaurants. Honestly, I think I might need to try other items to get a full picture of how I fully feel about this place. There were some clear standouts, but there were some clear misses as well.

I was recommended to try out this place after a recent change in management. The staff are now primarily Vietnamese, upping the quality of Pho and Banh Xeo. The main area is still undergoing rework, but has 5 tables, one for staff. A quick peek in the kitchen, you'll find stainless steel modern tables, sinks, and prep areas. Along with several woks on hot fire stoves to get you that wonderful wok hay.I had the house special fried rice, which mine had char siu pork, shrimp, chicken, and beef. It was surprisingly chock full of meat, without having too much, remaining balanced with the rice. Not too many vegetables in the fried rice. It was very filling, along with a relatively low price point.I also had an order of fried wings with sauce on the side. The wings were crispy with a nice crust usually expected of chinese-style chicken wings. The wings stayed piping hot for a surprisingly long time, despite the cold weather. It also retained an excellent juicy and soft inside, perfectly cooked, falling off the bone. The sauce was of the chunky kind, letting you both dip, or spoon it on and have the onions, peppers, and sesame seeds on it. The slightly sweet and tangy sauce, with a mild spice well compliments the high temperature and fatty wings. You might think $8.99 is too much for 6 wings, but these wings were freaking massive. Those chickens were pumping some huge irons to get that kind of wingspan.

Traveling here from a different state and looking for a good restaurant to dine in is not easy cuz I'm not familiar with the area. Luckily I looked up asain food and this restaurant named Eggroll Express pops up w 5 stars reviews. I knew I had to go give it a try. And here I am, combo lo mein and house sauce chicken wings were the bomb. The chicken was so crispy and the noodles was perfectly cooked. Everything was on point y'all. I would wanna come bak here again next time.

One of my favorite places to get Chinese food! Went for their lunch specials ($7.50) & got Hot Braised Chicken that came with fried rice, egg roll & a crab rangoon. The chicken kinda tasted like General Tso's & it was so good! Everything else was tasty as well, the crab rangoon actually had crab in it which I feel is not common nowadays lol. Their Iced Milk Coffee was delicious as well!Affordable prices, good portions & friendly family!

Don be fooled by the name- egg rolls aren't the only good thing here! Oddly enough, their pho is DIVINE! The broth is rich and flavorful. Try their chicken wings, too! So good! The staff is very kind and happy to answer questions. Everything is cooked right when ordered, nothing is ever soggy or stale. The ambiance is simple, but is easily overlooked once you try their food.Highly recommend. It may be a hole in the wall, but aren't those always the best places? Show this stall business some love!

Their banh xeo is the best in Wichita. Crunchy even after taking it home and hours later. Hen is the bomb. Other items are also very good. Very authentic to Vietnamese's taste. My wife and I are picky eaters, and this place dont disappoint us. If we like it, guarantee you will like it too.
