This is from our order two days ago. Placed an order for take out & it was ready in 10 minutes. Not bad for a restaurant around the lunch hour. Here's a rundown of the food.Not pictured: pancakes with strawberries, blueberries and infused with chocolate chips. I was told that it was perfect as is and didn't really need syrup. Also ordered were scrambled eggs with bacon, both cooked well with a good crisp to the bacon.Not pictured: side of biscuits and gravy. Was informed that this was a decent side. Biscuits are small but mighty delicious and the gravy was perfect. Pictured: eggs Benedict which is a filling dish that's well executed. Was told that it is definitely a meal to order on repeat. Pictured: Greek omelet. I've never had this & was intrigued. It's a simple omelet with lots of flavor. It has black olives (I wasn't too sure about it but they worked well), feta cheese and artichoke. It was probably one of the best omelets I have ever had. The seasoned house potatoes were awesome. They had a great amount of seasoning and a good mix of crispy and soft. I could have eaten those all day.I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here, especially given the amount of options on the menu. While some places can't stay consistent with a vast menu, Egg Cetera does a very good job. I'll definitely be back again soon.

I had high hopes for this breakfast spot, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations at all. First off, the place is tiny, and the service was a mess. They took in a party of 15 that nearly filled the entire restaurant, which completely ruined the ambiance. I was expecting a calm, relaxing breakfast with a cup of coffee, but instead, it felt cramped and chaotic.The food was a huge letdown too. It was cold, lacked flavor, and just didn't taste fresh at all. To make matters worse, the server barely engaged beyond taking our order. Another person brought out the food after a long wait, and the whole thing felt rushed and disorganized.The restroom situation wasn't any better. The faucet was rusty and falling apart, which is definitely not something you want to see in a place that charges what they do. All in all, it was a disappointing experience, and I won't be returning. Definitely not worth the price.

I was so happy I wandered into Egg Cetera for breakfast. The place was clean and the server Aly greeted me with a smile. The coffee was nice and how and tasted good. I went with the build my own Omelet and was really pleased with is. Mushrooms, spinach, onions and chorizo topped with pepper jack cheese. The potatoes were also really good. There is nothing fancy about this place, just good food and friendly service! Give it a try if you are ever in the Old Town District.

June 2024Food: I would recommend the pancakes, we actually just ordered one for the table but it was VERY good. My avo toast was good, but the b&g was underwhelming. Bf thought the screwdrivers were weak, I didn't mind them:) Vibes: it's a little crowded, the outside area is super cute and if it's a nice day I would def have preferred this seating. Service: our service was a little less than excellent. We didn't have to wait, which was nice. But then it took a while before our order was taken and we had to ask about drinks after we hadn't received them for around ten minutes maybe. Overall wasn't a poor experience but room for improvement :)

This is a lovely breakfast spot. The food was scrumptious. I had the skillet with mushrooms, spinach, hash browns, a biscuit, and strawberry sauce.The service was excellent and the as stated the food was delicious. The ambiance is that of a cool diner. The menu has many tasteful options and this is definitely a solid breakfast spot in Wichita.

I had an order of Avacado toast and eggs over easy. Very basic. The bread was good and thick the Avacado was spread very thin. Totally unimpressive. Same with the menu and service. Had to get own salt and pepper also had to ask for sugar for coffee. No water was offered. Will not return. Recommend anything but this place.
