Great location! The office staff and maintenance team are always pleasant and responsive when we have work orders or need to speak with someone.

I liked the price and pictures posted on the website, so I reached out to schedule a tour of a 2 bedroom unit. Once the appointment was scheduled, I was told I was in the property manager's (Stephanie Bull) calendar. I showed up to the appointment excited to see the apartment. No one was there to greet me and show me around. The office was closed and locked. I called Stephanie and left her a message telling her that I was at the office and asked where she was. I was called back two days later and she said she had a family emergency and couldn't make it. She was very apologetic and I understood. So I scheduled a second appointment to see a 2 bedroom apartment and was told that I was in her calendar. AGAIN, no one was there to greet me and show me the apartment. Having been stood up again, I emailed Stephanie to let her know that I would not being interested in Eastgate due to her lack of respect for her future tenants. Management clearly shows future tenants that they are not worth their time. Eastgate management will waste your time, and, as I've read on other reviews, will trap and trick you in their contracts. It seems like once you sign the lease, there is only problem after problem. If this is the way Eastgate treats future tenants, I can't imagine how they are once you sign the lease. TL;DRManagement is incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. Do not get involved with Eastgate. They will only let you down.

Moving into Eastgate apartments with the best decision I've ever made My two bedroom two bath apartment is absolutely beautiful and spacious My grandson loves coming to visit and all the room that he has to play and he loves having his own room and bathroom. The manager Monica is absolutely fabulous and gets things done that need to be done and always listens to any problems that you have no apartment complex is perfect but to have a manager that does what's needed to make you comfortable there is an absolute bonus, I have lived in apartments for 30 years and this is the best one I've been in so far I plan on staying for a very long time , if you're looking for a nice place to move into consider Eastgate apartments there might be other bad reviews on here but most of them are from the past when they had different management this place is absolutely fabulous spacious and very comfortable living they also have a gym and a swimming pool which I absolutely love and as before great management!

This place has been going downhill fast, and shows no sign of improving. Management changes frequently, which is usually a sign of deeper problems. Maintenance requests are blatantly ignored and when it is actually done, the fixes are half-baked and do not last. They built new balconies for their older units last year and they hired cheap contractors who took extremely long to complete the job, and didn't even do the job well. I was without a balcony for about 9 months. When they FINALLY finished, they had to come back multiple times to fix mistakes. The current building manager is rude and unwelcoming. The neighborhood sucks and the people do not care for their dwellings or surrounding area. The indoor hallways always smell disgusting. Theres a ton of unsupervised children running around screaming and throwing rocks every day. The ONLY decent aspect is the price.

These apartments have a lot of bugs and they can not be removed despite the apartment standard methods. They need better methods, they don't care or listen to their residents on many complaints. I wouldn't recommend.

I have lived here for over 4 years. I picked this place because the rent was considerably cheap for the large apartment size ($420 for a one bedroom, 800+ square feet) and they allowed cats. However, I experienced many problems while living here. The manager for the first several years was never in the office, even on weekdays. It was a miracle if you were able to catch her. So if I ever had a problem, I had to call and go by the office several times to report it.Last year on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend, water started to drip from my ceiling vent in my bedroom. I immediately called emergency maintenance, and a man came by 4 hours later. He told me that the recent rain was coming in from the roof and that the leak should stop soon and that roofers would be called in the following week. Even though, by the time he left, the leak had substantially increased. The next day, it was still leaking a lot. The water had started to come out in several different places and the ceiling started to bow in. I called emergency maintenance again, and instead of the man coming by because he didn't want to drive that far, he just called me to tell me that he had talked to the manager. When I later got a hold of the manager, she said she had not heard from him. Anyways, the leak got worse and worse to the point that I was dumping a 10 gallon rubbermaid container of water in the bathtub ever HOUR! I stayed home from work to do this 4 days in a row in order to keep the furniture in my bedroom from getting ruined. I was soon fired for missing work. And even though my apartment had turned into an uninhabitable swamp, and I was calling every few hours, I was ignored until the office was finally opened back up on Tuesday. This was 5 days after the leak started. The manager then said she would put us up in a hotel during the repairs, for what she assured us would only take a few days. We were in the hotel for 9 days, during which we had to eat nothing but take out (no kitchen). When we went back to our aparment to get clothes (we had only brought a few changes, but then had to stay at the hotel much longer) all of our stuff was pilled in the living room and we could not access anything we needed. It was a horrible time that really put us out. Then last winter, our heater wouldn't work. And every time we called to have someone fix it, it would work for a day and then break again. And each time it would break, it would take a week for someone to come fix it. We ended up with no heat in our apartment for most of the winter. Which was even worse because the aparment was not sealed well at all. Once we had a snow drift several inches high form on the inside of our shut sliding glass door. And during the summer, the pool was drained into a ditch near our part of the building. Mosquitos spawned there and could easily get into our apartment. I got bit many times while inside my apartment. Then sometime within the last two months, this complex was taken under new managment. The rent went up by $60 a month for a 6 month lease. I don't agree with this large raise in price, because it's not like my apartment magically got better! It is still the same shitty place, so if I have to pay more, I'm going to live somewhere better. So we plan on moving out at the end of this year.Another thing that I found unprofessional. I pay my rent on time. I have been one day late, one time in the 4 years I have lived here. I happened to go out of town on the Friday rent was due, and I forgot to pay it. I got back on Sunday to find a rude letter on my door saying things like "I am tired of having to pay the price for tenants being late on rent" and "If you don't pay in the next week, I will move to evict you" etc. I thought this was extremely inappropriate. Being that my rent is never late, why should I be chastised for the problems the manager has had with other tenants? I think a simple note saying that rent was late would have sufficed. Or even a courtesy call.Lastly, it's not even a good neighborhood. Many of my neighbors are rude and mean. My car has been hit twice in the parking lot (mind you, there was no note or appology or any kind of confession at all). There is a house across the way that I often see police in front of. And the complex is in a very inconvenient location. And even since we decided to move, we have had a handfull of problems, including a backed up sink that took two days to fix (and the maintenance man ruined my rug), the loud and constant noise whithout warning for several weeks while ALL of the roofs are redone), and the AC is broken. Again.I give Eastgate Apartments a 2 out of 5 because I realize that all places have problems sometimes. But I will be damed if I'm going to pay extra for this kind of service and treatment. I put up with all of the things that happen here because it was affordable. Now that this is no longer true, there are no redeeming qualities left.
