Dyck Arboretum of the Plains

We had a lot of time to kill while driving from a meeting in Salina back to the Wichita airport. My colleague had heard of this great little place and so we stopped to stretch our legs on a beautiful spring day before getting on our flights home. Things were just staring to turn green and bloom. I'm guessing things will be gorgeous in about a month or so! There is a nice paved half mile walk around a pond. They have a prairie area that most likely will be lovely in the summer. There isn't an admission charge but they do take donations. Parking is free as well, and there are clean restrooms. Just minutes off the highway! Worth a stop!
