What a cute little place. It's right near the Harlan Reservoir in Alma. You can't go wrong for coffee, smoothies, and pastries. I was tempted by the chicken salad croissant but decided I had better finish my leftover dinner from last night. I had a lemon lavender scone. Deliciousness! I still had coffee from breakfast and almost gave into a smoothie, but I resisted. If you are going on a vacay to Harlan County Reservoir, this is a can't miss stop.

If you like the most delicious and affordable cookies head over to Dragonfly, my granddaughters look forward to picking their cookies every week. I've had scones in 37 states and these by far are the best. Looking for a little more? The quiche is so tasty literally every bite and the breakfast burritos are so filling and enjoyable. The atmosphere is welcoming to sit with a coffee and chat with friends. Make the trip you will not be disappointed

We love this place. The baked good are always really nice quality. You can tell it's all made with fresh ingredients from scratch. Highly recommend the quiche and scones.

Wow, can't believe Yelp doesn't have any Dragonfly reviews. First, let me say that I believe Alma, Nebraska, has some of the friendliest folks we've encountered in our six years of full-time RVing. Sorry to digress, but just wanted to put that out there. We were passing through Alma and someone recommended Dragonfly Desserts to us as a place for breakfast. What a nice find! The coffee was as expected -- hot and tasty. They offer a variety (regular, decaf and flavored). The blueberry scone, cinnamon swirl scone, and the breakfast burrito (sausage) were all delicious. The two peach muffins we picked up for the next morning's breakfast were delicious too. There's comfortable seating (padded chairs) for those who want a leisurely breakfast. Since we were there for breakfast, we didn't try any of the desserts, but I can only imagine they'd be terrific. We would definitely stop in again if passing through the area.
