Everything is frozen, canned, boxed, and non-organic ... how these people don't die of malnutrition, I have no idea.

This place is very expensive. A lot of their items they have on sale, is because their out dated..The price on a regular size mayonnaise is approx. $6.00 a loaf of bread is over $3.00 cookies, just Oreos is gonna run you over $4.00. Make sure to check every thing you buy, for when it expires. I bought ice-cream once and it had expired a year before. I went to return it the same day and they asked for my receipt. Now this place sits in the middle of a small town in rural Kansas, everyone knows everyone. They knew me, they knew I had just bought it,l and they still asked for my receipt.I only go to this store, if absolutely need something and then I check for the expiration date..In last: CHECK THE DATES!!

Let's start with the expensive part. Hello, we live in an isolated rural setting. This grocery is slightly larger than a city convenience store. If you will compare our local grocery ads (Osborne, Beloit), this store is very competitive on their prices. Do what I do and buy what is on sale. Don't expect this store to be competitive in price with urban stores. Oh, and CHECK THE DATES, is true for ANY store at all. Not for nothing, the staff is very friendly, always out to please and has a smile, and you will find excellent and local produce. The meat is, hands down, the best cut in the region. Try the little steaks, any cut, and you will find them to be as delicious as almost any better/more expensive cut of beef.
