Douglas Key Service

Had a mailbox key that I needed extra copies of. Since the key was an unusual type none of the popular key duplicating places could do it. Walked into Douglas, he took one quick look at my key, went into the back of his shop and brought out 2 blanks. He cut the blanks to match in about 2 minutes and I was on my way.

Very good locksmith I needed new keys for my lexus 15 minutes it was done I'll use them every time!

The guy is a master key maker. He's the best in town. He has been able to duplicate every key I have taken to him.

Worst customer service - said they are plenty busy and hung up. I tried 6 times to get a quote and was patient calling but then they acted rude said their plenty busy. Well hope they stay that way - cocky I wouldn't use them for my dog house. Maybe you'll have a better experience IF they can squeeze you in !!

Took my Tundra key to them & I had a new key in 15 minutes. Cheaper than any other place I called & 1/2 the price of taking it to the Toyota dealer. Friendly guys behind the counter also.

Quick and much cheaper than anywhere else I called. I needed replacement key fobs for my wife's van programmed and he had them done in a matter of minutes.

Have used Douglas Key multiple times to cut and program smart keys for my cars. The master locksmith is a little eccentric with conversation and visiting his shop on Washington street you would wonder how he finds anything. But make no mistake, he knows his stuff and has all the latest tools and computers to get the job done. I had checked with the Hyundai dealership (west Wichita 2019 year) and they did not have the ability to cut and program my 2017 Hyundai SanteFe (laser smart key). They told me try the East Wichita dealership and I did and the price was over a $100. Took it to Douglas Key, $59.95 and had it done in 20 minutes.

This guy is a master keymaker. He makes all of my master ignition keys. He will take a worn out key and lay it in front of him. He will rattle off a few numbers (key steps) and make a master that works perfectly!!
