"A Breakfast Adventure That'll Make Your Taste Buds Do the Doo-Dah Dance!"Listen up, breakfast enthusiasts! If you're the type who stares at a menu longer than you spend on your morning hair routine, the Triple D sampler at Doo Dah Diner is your new best friend. It's like they read my commitment-phobic breakfast mind and said, "Hold my coffee, we got this!"First up: their banana bread French toast. Gluten-free folks, don't you dare skip this! Slathered with apple butter, it's so good it'll make you question every other breakfast you've ever had. The apple butter doesn't just complement it - they're having a full-on flavor romance on your plate. Then there's the corned beef hash - think thick, juicy chunks of corned beef (none of that canned nonsense) mingling with perfectly crispy potatoes and peppers, all topped with an egg and green chile sauce. While it's technically my "least favorite," that's like picking your least favorite puppy - it's still pretty darn amazing. But oh mama, Tanya's Benny! This is where things get serious. Picture this: a perfectly poached egg perched atop creamy avocado, crowned with maple pepper bacon that should honestly have its own Instagram account. The hollandaise sauce? It's the kind of thing that makes you want to write poetry.Pro tip from a newly initiated Doo Dah devotee: Spring for the Home Run add-on and get yourself a half portion of their biscuits and gravy. That biscuit is so fluffy it could float away if it wasn't anchored down by the most perfectly seasoned sausage gravy. Timing is everything here, folks. Start with Tanya's Benny before the avocado pulls a cold shoulder on your egg and hollandaise. Your taste buds will thank you for the strategic planning.Bottom line: Whether you're a chronic menu waverer or just someone who appreciates a breakfast that makes you want to hug the chef, Doo Dah Diner has got you covered. My party left with full bellies and happy hearts, already planning our next visit. Because let's be real - breakfast this good deserves a sequel.P.S. Come hungry, leave happy, and don't forget to do the Doo-Dah dance of joy on your way out. (Okay, the dance is optional, but after this meal, you might just feel like it!)

You're actually insane... never one time in my life have I been to a breakfast place that doesn't have pancakes, eggs and bacon as an option ALREADY INCLUDED IN A $13.99 PRICE TAG(CAME WITH EGGS BACON AND A PIECE OF TOAST YOURE . ONLY ALLOWED TO UPGRADE TOAST TO PANCAKES FOR AN EXTRA $2. $16 for a plate of two pancakes, two pieces of bacon and 2 eggs is ACTUALLY CRAZY. Let's not talk about the rest of the majority of the plates DONT COME WITH SIDES! And if you want a side you will pay OVER $3 EACH FOR BASIC FOOD. I'm honest to God don't know how this place has been a staple for so long with these insane prices. I saw pictures of the food and thought it looked good would've NEVER came if I read any part of it that said I would be paying $16 for a BASIC food plate. I'm writing this before even getting my food because I'm quite flabbergasted I'm even sitting here.... ALSO HOW HARD IS IT TO HAVE A KIDS MENU? Just making more profit off of the hardworkers who keep your doors open..... it looks like any other BASIC restaurant... I'd get eating downtown in some nice environment where the ambiance is fancy and not a mediocre space where the tables are covered in cheap fabric from hobby lobby. The waitress was decent, she was patient with me figuring out what we were getting, however once I started questioning the plates/prices she seemed like she lacked the same niceness.Updating after I ate the food..... My kids shared plate that cost $17 for two eggs, two small pieces of bacon and two large pancakes they loved it. My husband got the $15 smothered burrito... HUGE no.. came with no sides either I got the special crab cake benny and though it was delicious it was NOT worth the $20 price tag that was NOT listed... BEST PART WAS THE BREAD PUDDING 10000% worth the $9.Updating my review to a one star since the owner told me to eat anywhere else but her place LAUGHABLE. I left an honest review of MY experience. The only thing she could chime in on was the no kids meal thing, LOL. I also left my review of the food LOL. I'm from Texas where everything is made from scratch baby don't need to charge INSANE amounts for paying customers LOL.

Visiting from out of state, Doo-Dah diner was a short walk from our hotel that came with many high recommendations. It's a classic diner vibe with hearty breakfast and lunch/dinner choices. We came for breakfast, as that's what was recommended to us. If you're hungover, just want a great diner breakfast, or a unique breakfast dish, Doo-Dah is the spot. The service was fast and friendly and felt like family. Everyone was friendly and answered all our questions, as well as making sure we had everything we needed. I'll get it out of the way now: get the monkey bread. It's sweet, gooey, and a perfect side to a savory meal! It's not a huge portion, but we were able to share it amongst 5 adults! Don't skip this! We had a variety of entrees for breakfast. The fried bologna sandwich was giant and something I've never had before. The bologna was cut THICK, and the bread it was on was clearly made fresh that day. It could have easily been enough for 2 people, but we took leftovers home with us! The biscuits and gravy were as authentic as they come. Fluffy biscuits, hearty sausage gravy...a perfect start to your day! I didn't get to try the weekly special of crab Benedict, but judging by the clean plate club winner at the end of our meal, it's safe to say it was delicious! If you're ever in Wichita, make time to stop here for breakfast! I wish we were there for lunch or dinner, cuz I'm sure those meals would be just as great!

Visited my brother in Wichita and went to the Doo-Dah Diner probably one of the best diners in Wichita. Very busy. We ordered a whole bunch of stuff. Started with the Monkey Bread Loaf, Salmon and Eggs Benedict, Pancakes with Strawberries, Chicken Fried Chicken and Eggs, Basic Boring Breakfast with a slice of maple pepper bacon and jalapeno bacon. I ordered the Triple D which is half order of the following: Banana Bread French Toast, Crispy Corn Beef Hash with Egg, and Tanya's Egg Benedict. Also ordered biscuit and gravy and to go the Breakfast Bologna Sandwich as when you see something you don't usually see on a menu you got to order it. All in all we enjoyed our meals and everything was excellent. Also love the local Wichita decor. A must go to if your in Wichita, Kansas. Only gripe is it's really busy with all the cars coming in and out of parking lot

What a great little establishment! You can tell they have roots here in this town. Learned quite a lot from my friend who lives in Wichita and this place was just so homey. The food was excellent and greasy which was just what we needed and you cannot pass on the monkey bread. This is a classic Wichita diner and you should definitely try it out! The service was great too. Got sat in less than 5 minutes and the food came out relatively quickly too with attentive waiting staff!

We loved our visit to the Doo-Dah Diner! We were meeting our friends for breakfast as we were just passing through Wichita. So glad they chose this spot! I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict which was really delicious and beautiful! My son ordered Chicken and Waffles which he said was great! Dad ordered Biscuits and Gravy. And when my Dad mentioned how much he liked really strong coffee, our waitress went the extra mile and brewed him a special pot of very dark coffee. He said "I'm 74 years old and I've never had anyone brew me a special pot of dark coffee" he was blown away by the gesture. Needless to say, we really enjoyed our experience here.

I've been here multiple times during my travels to Kansas and it never disappoints! This visit I got something new: The Brutus - highly recommend the version if you cannot have beef or pork like me- chicken tenders, crispy hash browns, chicken gravy and magicalness. Seriously, this place never disappoints even though last time I was in town and visited was a good we and a half ago. The staff is always friendly. We even chatted it up with the manager. It is not very loud- easy to have conversations. Definitely a spot to check out if in Wichita
