Donut Palace

Whenever we are driving through Kansas along I-70, we always stop for apple fritters and donuts at the uber-friendly Palace Donuts. Not only does Palace Donuts have an excellent selection of donuts, twists, bars, rolls and fritters, their prices are unbelievable and the quality is exceptional. When we were there the other Friday there was a long line of hungry customers. I was extremely impressed with how politely and efficiently the lady at the counter helped each customer and their families. She was the picture of perfect customer service under pressure. You really can't do better for donuts in central Kansas.

We stopped here on our road trip from Philadelphia to Boulder during a torrential rainstorm and the young man working was so kind to us! The shop was closing in an hour and he made us fresh coffee and gave us a donut to try. It so nice to see friendly people ! Thank you so much for your kindness and tasty donuts !

Great independent donut shop. Cinnamon rolls are large and really exceptional. Other donuts very good and nice people with good service!

Stopped by for a couple of donuts through the drive through and I was completely impressed. The donuts were very tasty and the service through the drive through was great. The apple fritter was big and one of the better apple fritters I've had. If I was back in Abilene, I wouldn't hesitate about stopping by for a donut again.

My husband and I were passing through Abilene on a cross-country road trip and spotted this donut shop. We love donuts and are always on the lookout for new places to try. These donuts were amazing...very light and fluffy with just the right amount of icing to donut. The cashier was friendly as well and made sure we got just the donuts we wanted. If we're ever passing through Abilene again, this place is on my must-visit list. Well done, Donut Palace!

Oh my yum! We love this new place in Abilene. Great donuts. Not many tables to eat at inside, so the drive through is helpful.

Updating again. After getting overcharged a few weeks prior I went inside this time and got my usual and was charged the right price and I told the Asian lady manager about being overcharged last time and the lady who did it said it was her mistake and said she was probably so busy she got the orders messed up. However, since I brought this to their attention weeks later I didn't get reimbursed or anything but that's understandable. From now on though I am paying attention.
