Dollar General

This used to be a nice store with very nice people working. Sadly not anymore. This happened to me yesterday 1/28/2019:Went into store, I was looking to get some double a battery's, came across their meat station, saw they had beef hot dogs on sale from 2.75 (6 pack) for one dollar, I use them to train my dogs so I figured that was a pretty good buy, I got two.Went to checkout dude rang it up for normal price, so I told him that was not right, he told me I cant help that that is how they ring up, in a very annoying to say the least, tone of voice. So I told him you better check, you have them on sale, he replied, no I won't do that. I told him you are very rude, but Ill get it, so I walked back and got the sticker thingy that said SALE and product info, handed it over and asked so now what? He called supervisor, took that person, and I am not kidding, over 20 minutes to get to the counter. I stayed and waited patiently but I did not like it at all.I might be old fashioned, but since when is it ok to be just plum out rude?

The check printer is a piece of junk.This is the 3rd time in this store and my last. The cashier seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. Had to call a dude over and he couldn't get it to work either ridiculous. Guess u dont need my business. Its a darn shame.

Store is built into the front of an Antique shop. Not very big and inside aisles are narrow and there always seem to be boxes on the floor. Many in town have been complaining to corporate but they don't seem too concerned. Also have heard the help there aren't always the most pleasant. Selection seems good to me, but the overall experience could be much better.
