Dodge House Restaurant

We stayed at the hotel so we ate here for dinner that night and breakfast the following day.The staff were really friendly, they were a joy to chat with and very helpful. Dinner was okay, nothing super spectacular. Good if you don't feel like going out after arriving.But breakfast was excellent, eggs were cooked to order perfectly, and the hash browns were the best hash browns I have, literally, ever tasted.I think the buffet was a little scary to have running during a covid surge, so we avoided it. But that was my only concern.

Large restaurant with space for even a large party. There is a bar in the back. Buffet in front ... breakfast in the morning .. salad later in the day. They also have a very large menu with a variety of items.

Good country cooking. Friendly staff. Would have like tomato and bell pepper on the buffet for the salad but otherwise all the food was very tasty

The service was fantastic, the restaurant was clean. The food was okay. The chicken fried steak was a little tough and very salty. Hamburger steak was wrapped in bacon which was under done and really didn't add anything to the dish. The meat was also quite salty. The corn was toasted with zucchini which was not spelled out in the menu so that was different. I also got a side salad that was mediocre. The kids meals were great, each kid got an ice cream cup and a toy, which my kids really enjoyed. Over all a good experience- food wasn't the worst but could also be improved upon.

The service was good and the general atmosphere was pleasant. I couldn't avoid the buffet fast enough and ordered the 16oz prime rib. It tasted wonderful, but it was nothing but a 1/2 inch thick, 10oz piece of meat, seasoned and seared on the grill. I think if I ordered a steak I would have gotten about the same piece of meat for much less than what I paid for the prime rib. However, it was exactly what I expected from a hotel restaurant. It's the cost of convenience.

Absolutely terrible service. Took 38 minutes to get our food. Was ignored entire time never came back with ticket to cash out. Had to go to back ask for it. Will never go back!
