Dental Associates provide good service except billing/insurance department. I have a July 2018 bill that they still have not resolved with my insurance company. Plus they do not return email or phone messages. I would like to give an A-ok or better but don't feel it is warranted since customer service after the appointment has fallen short many over the years.

I received good service on the two visits I went to Dental Associates. Teeth cleaning with bitewing x-rays cost me $158 with no insurance. They did a thorough job and recorded the numbers for my gum pockets too. I also had a crown re-cemented onto an implant screw and that was just $58 with no insurance. Teeth cleaning price seemed a little high to me, especially for Wichita, which has very cheap rents and low cost of living, but it wasn't totally outrageous.

Horrible horrible place of business. I was treated like a second class citizen not just by dentist but Pam the Office Manager. She was rude argumentative and insulting. I asked for Pam's full name to include her in future negative reviews and was told I was not allowed to have her last name? When I asked why she told me because I am a single women. So what does this imply? I am a married man and I'm doing a business transaction with a non ethical business not trying to ask you out.

I had a cavity free check up with two spots noted to watch for a cavity six months ago with a dentist in California. I came to see Dr. May yesterday for my regular 6 month appointment. I brush and floss every day and don't drink coffee or soda. Dr.May shockingly told me I had 6-7 cavities and a bill of $1500. I went to get a second opinion at a different Wichita dentist office with a new x-ray and they told me I had the same two spots as the dentist in California had said. I've been going to Dr. May since I was a child (20 years now) and have always thought that I had awful teeth because I would always have 3-6 cavities filled each yearly check up with her. Now after having three dentists opinions within 6 months I think this is absolutely a scam on Dr.May's part. NEVER going back and 100% do not recommend going to see her.

I came here for getting my teeth cleaned but during the checkup, I was questioned multiple times about my intent of immigrating to the US by Dr. Jeff in a demeaning way. Wouldn't recommend to anyone who's not white.

I have been going to Dental Associates for about 8 years now. The first hygienist I had was amazing, but she retired. The hygienists since have been okay. They have all been professional and performed their jobs well. Dr. May has been amazing. The office staff has always been great. The waiting rooms and dental chairs are always comfortable, clean, well-appointed, and their prices are very reasonable. Parking is easy and convenient. And they keep their appointment times so there is very little waiting in the waiting room. You need to book about a month in advance for routine cleanings, because they do keep a tight schedule. I like em!

I have been a long time patient and have had no problems. Until today. I have a filling that fell out and they are not able to help me in the same day. I am leaving town tomorrow and they can't get me in until Monday. I guess I will be living on Ibuprofen and Anbisol. LUCKY ME!

We have been with this place for awhile and until recently I have a root canal service and they quoted me around $600 and end up with a bill of $1600 on my part. See they don't tell you this amount at first just to get you committed and when done, they handed me the final amount of around $1600. We are done with this place and decided to go elsewhere for future dental services.

Since I have periodontal disease, I was given a deep cleaning once or twice but then the doctor decided that I did not need any more deep cleanings -- just regular cleanings. I explained to him that I had a history of periodontal disease, and, yet, he insisted that I only have regular cleanings. Then, the inevitable happened -- one of my molar teeth had to be extracted. I continued to request the deep cleanings but was denied this service, which was in network with my insurance. Therefore, I had to contact another dentist who is out of network and costs a lot more for deep cleanings. As a result of the above, the dentist from Dental Associates dismissed me from his practice. Feel this is very unethical as now I must try to find another dentist but for some reason I am having a hard time and wonder if this office has communicated something online that is so negative that the other dentists do not want to take me on as a patient? What can I do -- I am in pain right now...
