DAV Thrift Store

Everything I was looking for I found it here. Thank you for such a wide selection of things.

Looking for teacups, none to be found. Prices a little uppity for a thrift store. But a thrift store, so that's good.

I had a great visit checking out everything they had in store. :D If you're a thrifty kind of person, this is a great place to venture to.

Whenever I'm in Salina, I have to come by here to see what new things they have in. They consistently beat Goodwill and the other thrift shops in town in terms of the volume of offerings for sale, and have a great selection of books, music & furniture - the three things I'm usually on the hunt for at thrift shops. Always seem to have a slight problem to get someone getting to come to the register when it's time to check out, even with a little bell up front, but other than that it's generally a great experience.

I love the dav. They're much more organized than goodwill and have great prices. I just had a baby and don't want to spend a lot of money on new clothes before I lose all my baby weight so I'm thankful for the dav and being able to get nice clothes at a great discount! Most of the clothes are way better than what I could afford!

This place makes me feel comfortable. Everything is well organized and this makes it easier for me to find the stuff that I want. I love their VCR selection and the christian audiobooks I simply can't get enough of them.

I absolutely LOVE the DAV thrift store and the new managers and staff! I love to thrift and I always find treasures and the prices are what a thrift store should be, aside from the furniture. I feel like those prices are too high but overall, it's my favorite thrift spot in town.

Whenever I visit the DAV store in Salina, my first stop is the jewelry counter at the front of the store. The last several times I have visited the store, I have had to contend with flats of jewelry, priced and ready to place on racks, being held back by the clerk for a man and woman that stand in front of the stacks of jewelry and go through them one by one with a jeweler's loupe. Both the clerk & the couple prevent other customers from accessing anything until they have perused it. (I am usually there before this couple, but the clerk refuses to admit she has any new jewelry until the arrival of these people.) I find this situation offensive and very unfair.

I never leave reviews. This place was very well organized, priced very well, overall a great experience.

The store has definitely been cleaned up in the past couple of years. There is a lot of space for items and browsing is easy. Prices are fair, workers are helpful and friendly. I do wish the current Covid-19 mask mandate was enforced better, as I have seen staff and customers with no masks despite a sign on the door stating that masks are required. The cause is worthy, so I will continue to support the business.
