Dandales Western Store

I didn't want to give any star for this place. Worst manager I've ever seen.. ask him several time about returning some boots if my son didn't like them. My son lives in Texas. I'm up here in Wichita working. The manager a black guy didn't get his name but he said he was the manger. So I tried to return the boots ask for a refund and he said didn't you read the receipt. No I didn't. I asked you the manager several time if I could return if my son didn't like them. You stated yes as long as they were not worn. Never did he say exchange only or store credit. And when I called him out on it he told the young lady to call the cops on me he's not dealing with my shit.. so I said ok. Call them.. I didn't nothing wrong. All I did was ask for a refund and call him a POS. A few times.. the boots were only $154.00 no big deal. It's the principle of this that pissed me off the way it was handled. I all so bought a $500 pair of boots for myself. So needless to say I would not buy anything else from this place. The sad part of this I was there to return those boots and buy the same ones I bought for myself for my son. So now they lost a sale and customer!! A complete piece of shit please!! This is the reason mom and pops shops are failing.

I love shopping here everytime I come through Wichita. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of boots and great prices.

We stopped in to check out cowboy boots & found the staff extremely helpful. We especially enjoyed chatting with Larry. He really knows his business & also was just a pleasure to work with!

Overall, this store is very good. Most of the staff is very knowledgeable and approachable. However, as someone who has spent a somewhat significant time in the store, I can say with certainty that dan, the manager, is absolutely terrible for this store. He's cynical and rarely engages the customer. Rather he pressures them into purchases that aren't wanted. Without him, the store would be a 4 store place, but due to his ineffectiveness to engage customers and simply make them feel unwanted, it is a 1. Very unfortunate that the owners choose such a bad manager to put around such good individuals working there!

Sheplers. Well there ya go, a sure sign of a shady operation. Dandales Western Store? This is my second reveiw of these hustlers so I'll just cut and paste most of it. Apparently they have several store locations all selling the same stuff they sell online. Sheplers online shopping service are dishonest and not reliable. And they didn't give me a full refund... and when I refunded the cheap, very overpriced clothing I could have bought for far less at Wal-Mart. In fact everything about it, their online business is very overpriced. The guys Western shirts were fine, but I wish now I never went their to buy them. I would warn "don't be fooled by the pictures" YOU WON'T GET WHAT YOU THINK YOU BOUGHT WHEN IT ARRIVES. And if its for the holidays, DON'T BELIEVE IT'LL BE THERE IN TIME for Xmas. Mine arrived in January.

Bad customer service and don't expect to return if the products is not what you wanted . Poor selections

Nice store. They have a nice variety of items from jeans, hats, shirts, etc. Good service. They just didn't have much that for big and tall.

went in to buy some boots with the BOGO Free promotio going on and found out it's a SCAM!!! after you pick out the boots you want that are within the limited selection for the promo, they will kindly ask you if you would like them to put them up front while you finish looking at the rest of the store! Do yoursef a favor and keep them with you because they will take it up front and take the promo tags off and tell you that you didn't pick the right boots and will make you seem like your going crazy when you know for a fact you were picking thru the limited section for the promo. sad that they have to rig a promotional advertising to get business but yet lose business to the ones that pay attention to detail.

Horrible customer service from the Manager Dan!They don't do returns of any kind on any of their merchandise. Exchanges or in store credit only!Dan was very belligerent with me when I tried to return some boots that I had purchased less than a week before. I had not worn the boots they were still in the box with the receipt. I looked their selection over very well to exchange because I had found some boots elsewhere that I liked much better but their selection is lacking to say the least. Dan argued with me and was not a nice person and definitely a disability to this store. He actually rudely told me to leave the store because I told him that I didn't like his stores policy. I've never felt so humiliated and insulted in my entire life! I've actually gone way out of my way to shop here numerous times and due to the construction it's not easy to get to. I will definitely not ever darken their door or shop here again! I'm going to report them to the Better Business Bureau! Take my advice people of Wichita... go to Cavenders or Boot Barn, not only do they have much better selection of merchandise but better management and way better return policies!

My son bought a great pair of boots on sale. We were also pleased to find out that they have a great selection of BIG AND TALL!! and not just Big...but TALL clothing! WE WILL BE BACK!!!Also, the young lad that helped us out made my son feel right at home and he displayed great customer service!
