This is a great music store. The staff are professional and helpful, and they have a lot of instruments and resources to go along with your instruments to choose from. The employees don't just know music they love music and it shows. I would recommend working with Brian he is very knowledgeable, helpful, considerate, and professional. Sweaty guy behind the counter was visibly masturbating while explaining to me why they couldn't offer refund/store credit/discount/any kind of support for a week-old guitar that snapped in half like a cheap twig, he almost came while telling me i could still "pay us to fix it for you." $350 dollars wasted, guitar center never touches themselves like this.

VERY VERY disappointed. We've traded there for years, but will never darken their doorway again. I can't in good conscious do business with people who don't appreciate their customers. The only way to address it is to "vote with my feet". Here's what happened: I ran across some unused items and attempted to return; they explained why the majority couldn't be returned and I accepted their reasoning. Didn't argue or clap back, even though the big bald guy got unnecessarily confrontational when I asked if they still carried the items and if they could be resold. He did NOT like being questioned. Of course I didn't appreciate him getting in my face, especially when he had no reason to do so, but kept my cool. Here's where it went wrong for me: there was one inexpensive item they could've chosen to give me back my money, but would only do store credit. It was literally $17 out of $100+, and an item they still carry and could resell. Still had the tag attached. The cherry on the sundae was the insincere "have a nice day!" said as I walked out the door. Just wow...rub salt in the wound why don't you? Over the years I have spent thousands of dollars at Damm music. I like to shop local and support neighborhood businesses, but won't go there again and feel compelled to warn others. I expect hiding behind policies and inflexibility from big corporations, but not from Mom and Pop shops. They effectively lost a customer over less than $20. The heavy set bearded guy may be a good musician, but he's a terrible businessman.

Completely two-sided management team. My son was signed up for a band camp and the day before it started his dad was in a very serious accident that left him in critical condition. I called Damm to inquire on a refund since the camp had just started. I spoke with Brian who was very sympathetic and ensured me that it wasn't a rush and that the money could be refunded whenever I could get in. I went today for a refund and they said they couldn't. They offered a partial refund of store credit. Basically to make a long story short, The ownership isn't supporting their management team and is losing at least one customer over it.
