Good prices, small town cafe, friendly service, feels like family. When we got there, there wasn't an empty table. A stranger (but probably a frequent diner) let us join her at her table. The food is good and inexpensive. Breakfast is delicious- love the biscuits and gravy! Coffee is free with a breakfast order (over $1.95). Prices are not inflated, are very reasonable, even for a family. I like the decorative Native American paintings and ornaments. A great place to meet the locals.

This place smells like old people and cigarettes. The staff is out of touch with customer service. It'd be better if they closed their doors.

Excellent food and a very wonderful atmosphere! They take their time to make sure that everything is done right the 1st time.

Nice little cafe. Food is great, portions are generous and prices are cheap. Friendly staff. My new favorite spot in town to eat will definitely come back.

Only went there because our chosen spot was closed. Food just average or less. Doesn't feel like it's had a deep cleaning in a while. The salad was just iceberg lettuce and dressing. The vegetables were straight out of a can and not even seasoned--very bland.

Nice place to eat. Was in town for a week, diner type feel, friendly waitresses, and decent food that is outrageously well priced.

We stopped here for breakfast, and the food was fresh and hot, and cooked just the way we asked! The service was friendly and fast! The coffee was free, and the total price was so reasonable! We'll definitely eat here again the next time we're near.

The service was excellent. The staff was not prepared for our party of 5 to walk in, but they handled our order with ease and grace. The food and coffee were excellent. I would happily go back if I get to Arkansas City again.

This hidden away gem is a throwback to the original family owned restaurant. Makes sense since the restaurant has been there close to 100 years. Menu is full of comfort foods. We had breakfast and the price was unbelievably low considering prices everywhere else have gone up. The wait staff was very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this place.

I reviewed this place several years ago and it has just gone downhill over the years. Most everything is heat and serve, very little real cooking going on. They can't get hashbrowns right, they pre-cook a lot of bacon and I understand that, but unless you ask them to heat it back up they serve it cold and greasy. Most wait staff are really nice but the building is falling apart and the cooking is sub-standard. At this point the place survives off of nostalgia and lack of competition.
