Crossfit Bootcamp saved my life! I was in horrible shape, but I went regularly for a year. It didn't take that long to start seeing results, which is why I stuck with it for so long. The workouts are hard, and they don't get easier, you just get better. You start seeing results after just a couple of weeks. It only took a 1 hour commitment 3 times a week to reverse my horrible fitness level. It was really much easier than I thought because it becomes addictive. This is considered a "rouge" fitness program. They throw out the traditional rules and fluff like air conditioning and treadmills. It's unjustly intimidating, but give it a shot. You won't be disappointed and it might just change your life. It's worth every penny.Sadly, I had to move on but I wanted to drop some love to Belen and the Crossfit fam before I get going. All the best!

I was a drop in on the 5:30 PM class on Thursday and there was about 12 people. The main blonde woman instructor was playful and fun and yet still professional. We did a Tabata style warm up and then proceeded to do an evil work out involving descending sets of thrusters and pull-ups broken by 5 & 3 minute rests. A broad range of athletes from beginners to advanced in the class and we all worked together well. This is the first CrossFit box in Wichita and because of it's proximity to the arena they often get celebrities dropping by to do workouts. They also offer Bootcamps and personal training for $50 an hour (up to 2 people) like most local gyms here . Pricing is only $100 a month for unlimited membership which is a great deal. The location is nice and they have plenty of equipment to take care of all of your needs, would highly recommend the box and the friendly staff here!!

These guys are great. Matt, the "Chief", is very welcoming and always gives just the right amount of encouragement. I've had good experiences with all the trainers I've encountered. The system they use is simple, yet *very* effective. I personally lost 21 lbs. in 3 months. I went 3 times per week to the boot camp classes. I also tried out the Crossfit classes and immediately got hooked. Crossfit takes less time (20 minutes or so), is more intense and is offered on a much more flexible schedule - available in 30 minute increments over the course of 4-5 hours, morning and evening. Boot camp is an hour-long class held at specific times in the morning or evening. I spent most of my time at the PM class (5:30, MWF) at the "East" location - either at the Office This complex or outside at Cypress Park during the nicer months. The instruction is usually great, with the exception of a new trainee learning the ropes. They don't just have you do the exercises. They actually show you each one and have you work up to doing them, which is nice for beginners. There are many different fitness levels in each class, with the option of doing more, less or alternative exercises according to your own level of comfort. I found this to be most helpful as the only exercise I had for the year or two prior was doing couch crunches and remote curls. But the best part about all of this? Not the fantastic instruction. Not the easy schedule or welcoming and supportive atmosphere. It's the price! They charge by the class, not by the month, so you only pay for the classes you go to. And it's only $5 a class! 5 freaking dollars. It's even cheaper if you buy a 30-pack of classes. I think it comes out to like $4.25 a class. So, if you go 3 times a week, it's only $50/month. You can't find that anywhere! Yeah, go to the YMCA for cheap - if you want to pay for things you don't use. If you want to lose weight, be around a great group of people and feel good about yourself - go to Blackhawk. They'll take care of you. Get fit!

This place is not just another CrossFit gym, it's a CrossFit family. The facility is the largest in Wichita located conveniently in downtown so people from all sides of the city are only ~15 minutes away. The coaches are well versed and take the time to help/ensure good form to prevent any injuries. This box (or gym) is also friendly for both people who are competitive and those who are looking to just get a workout in on any fitness level. The classes are social but definitely a great workout in an hours worth of your day. For me, I love having the accountability and seeing the friends I've made here. CrossFit Wichita also hosts a lot of events to bring people from different classes together and offers a free Weekend Class at 7:30 and 9 AM on the weekends if you're looking to get a taste.Oh, and they also just added Yoga--which is super important for maintaining mobility and flexibility (something we take very seriously in CrossFit).

Crossfit Wichita is a great facility with great coaches and great programming. While I was in town I dropped in on a Friday night after talking with Belen (I think that's how his name is spelled) He and the owner set me up with the coach for the class. From that point in we were guided through a warm-up and stretch session and them things got serious. I was pleased with the workout, facility, and hospitality of Crossfit Wichita and if your looking to improve your fitness and it or quality if life come check it out. I believe they have a free intro class every Saturday as well.

Best BOX in the ICT!! The trainers mean business and will not let you take the easy road out!! They will push you to your limits so that you get the best results! All the trainers and owners are very knowledgeable and will share with you technique tips and tricks so you can improve and not hurt yourself doing all of the crossfit lifts/movements. When we claim to be 'a family,' we are being 100% truthful. All ages, personalities, and fitness levels are welcomed with open arms and we all work together to compete against ourselves to keep improving! Matt, the guru of programming at Crossfit, has intensified the workouts in the last couple of months and I promise me, you will not leave the box with an ounce of energy left. He will make you 'leave it all out on the floor' for sure. First time in, you will be intimidated, we all were - but give it that 1 class and you will be hooked!! It is fun & DIFFERENT! Though I still love crushing those free weights & machines at the traditional gym, it can sometimes be a BIG SNOOZE FEST.....and that my friends is how CrossFit found my heart! Bloop.

This gym is pretty enjoyable. The classes are fun and the people are nice and welcoming. I feel great and have developed a nice body and have cut a lot of the weight on my mid section. The coaches help u if u need to scale back your workout or work on form or developing a personalized workout cadence. I would recommend this gym for people who are wanting to develop a nice body, feel better, and enjoy meeting people. The classes are group classes but there is also open gym for when you don't want to do the classes. I definitely recommend this gym.
