Food and service were great But it was noisy, it was hard to hear each other. They need some kind of noise absorption there.

A Joplin local favorite and the best choice in seafood around! Plus a great, dark & cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious cocktails. Crabby's is always top of list for a great experience!

It looks like a hole in a wall place. I wasn't aware of this place until it was recommended to me. When you walk in there are string lights hanging from the ceiling that creates a lovely ambiance. It's a great place for a date or a celebration. But you can totally come in casual attire. There is bar seating and a back room area to eat. The food is decently priced and all tastes great. There is complimentary bread served! The service is awesome as well. You can't go wrong with anything you order!

The vibe is awesome! Cozy booths, great service! Steven the bartender was our server and he was such a Joy to have! They accommodated my crazy food requests and everything was delightful!!! Would go back in a heartbeat.

Great seafood with good service. While the outside of the building and its location doesn't seem very impressive, upon entering you're greeted by a marvelous upscale restaurant. Full service well stocked bar. The fresh well prepared fish dishes are pleasantly presented by friendly staff. Try the sesame encrusted grilled Ahi tuna.

Ambiance was outta this world. The food and presentation were perfect. We had 2 appetizers, salad, and one entree between the 3 of us. It worked out great. Bread pudding dessert was the bomb diggity. Jason, our food runner, made the evening !!!!!!!We celebrated a birthday and he went above and beyond. We'll be back.

Our server's recommendations were spot on, and we would definitely return to try other food selections if we get the chance to visit Joplin again. Started out with the crab spinach artichoke dip with homemade pita chips, which were deliciously addictive. The homemade rolls that came with our entrees were equally addictive. Who would've thought that a seafood place would have orange chicken as one of its entrees?! But hands down this was one of the best orange chicken I've ever eaten...crispy breaded chicken in citrus sauce that wasn't overwhelmingly tart. My salad came with a honey lavender dressing which I never had before but it's now my favorite. My husband had the hanger steak and shrimp as well as the seafood chowder....all very yummy. Chowder was creamy, steak seared to medium rare perfection and grilled shrimp was delicious too. Ambience was pleasant and relaxed. This is a gem, the best fish and shrimp I have ever ate. Make a reservation beforehand as this place is very popular and often busy. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere, we cant wait to return :)

Great restaurant! Great service & management! The manager, Stephen, went above & beyond to return a left item. So accommodating! Highly recommend this place.

First off, we will dine here again, but we'll be reserving special occasions for the steakhouse. This is our second time eating here. This first time was five stars, easy. Food was cooked perfectly and service was great. So, we thought, what a great place to go on our ten-tear anniversary. Well, I wouldn't say it was a mistake, --but on this night-- they were only --***--three stars--and not--four (we averaged their first score and tonight's).Like our first time, we made a reservation for two. We were seated at a table despite requesting a booth. We requested a booth at the time of seating, but they said we had to sit at a table since the booths were not available. People were sitting at and being served at the booths, but half of them remained empty during our two hours there. So yeah a little frustrating, since it was our anniversary, we were on the fence about going somewhere else with a more private table. Not the biggest deal, but a disappointment. It was pretty obvious many of the booths were being seated as first come first serve, too. So yeah it's a little disrespectful to be blown off like that and not even given the option of the notice when making a reservation for a special occasion. Okay well we decide to make the best of it. We order the mussels as an appetizer and they are not good. Very stringy, almost meatless. We tried to eat a few but it was obvious they just were not fresh. Our server asked how they were, and we showed her. She understood--brought us new ones, and those were excellent. Plump, cooked well. Which just begs the question, why serve the first ones? Entrees were good. They cook scallops perfectly here, both times that we've been. Even fine restaurants screw scallops up. Hasn't happened to us here. Deserts were great, two of them, but served ten minutes apart. I think our server helped redeem a tough night, especially making sure we had good mussels.
