Cowley Cinema 8

It's located on the highway South of Winfield. Clean and well kept, the lobby smells of freshly popped popcorn as you enter. Ticket booth is against the South wall. Concessions are reasonably priced. We got cups of ice water. The sink had a filter on it, but our water tasted sort of salty. Ah, well. Free is free in an 8- oz. Cup.Right past the concessions to the right and you walk up a ramo to the theatres. A game room is on the left, bathrooms on the right. As you select the theatre of choice, the little signs above the doors indicate your destination. Movie posters adorn the walls.Once inside, the seating is comfortable. Attractive lighting to help you find your seat while music plays and advertising shows on the screen. Could not see it well in this room, as the screen was too dim. Oops! However, the speakers are not too loud or too soft. The right amount to enjoy the movie.Overall, it's a good theatre, plenty of parking, friendly staff and good concessions.

We drive about half an hour to this theater from our town because the one in our town is terrible! Cowley Cinema has stadium seating which we love. Ticket and concession prices are very reasonable. Even with the drive, plus the cost while at the movies it's still so much more worth it than our local theater.
