Pro'sClose to I-70.Big, reasonably level sites.Very good site utilies. Great cable. The grass was nice, the gravel was good gravel, and each was where it belonged. No mud despite recent rain. Now, to be fair, we had no advance reservations so our choices were Water/Electric/ Shade or Water/Electric/ Sewer. At mid 90's, we opted for shade. The President Eisenhower Museum was outstanding and very near.Con'sThe dump station didn't included water for rinsing, cleaning. Not acceptable. The showers were pretty scuzzy. Would have been pretty nice with a good scrubbing.

Nice and quiet rv park. Level sites, strong WIFI clean restrooms. Worth the short drive off I70. Near Eisenhower presidential library and Russell Stoffer chocolate outlet.

I have called this campground on 3 different occasions to reserve a site. No one ever answers a phone all you get is a message from a plumbing company to call. Well excuse me, when you are on the road it's tough to find a pen and pencil so I just go to another campground. U have also driven in the campground and no one is ever there. I have no idea how they stay in business. Go find another campground. This one is not worth it. The sites in front are small, the laundry room is nasty.I have to give it a 1 star because I can't give it a zero star.

I would recommend Covered Wagon Campground to anyone that is traveling through the area! We booked a one month (August 2017) stay at Covered Wagon so we could spend some time with our son who is stationed at Ft. Riley. Covered Wagon is a very nice campground. It is reasonably priced. The bathhouse, laundry facility, pool and horseshoe pit are nice amenities and are very clean. There are plenty of places to walk your pets. Covered Wagon campground is very close to a lot of local history. There is plenty to do outside the campground as well as in the campground. The owner (KC) is extremely friendly and professional. Most of the campers are very friendly, we have made friends with several campers. Due to Hurricane IRMA we have renewed our stay for another month.
