Country Cafe

This is a True Gem,I had a Big breakfast the first time here,This time I got a Large chesseburger and fries!Both were Awesome,I will stop every time I drive thru on 54!

So glad we stopped! Don't blink or you'll miss it and don't let other reviews turn you away. Friendly, great service, pancakes as big as your head... french toast... YUM!! Biscuits & gravy, umm, YES!! Couldn't help it, I tasted something from the whole family's order lol Support local small town business... worth it!!

A very cozy and super clean, friendly and the locals seem to frequent the establishment. It's not your big chain fast breakfast. Still, The prices are reasonable. Had 2 eggs, sausage and hash browns, and a side of pancake. Excellent food and customer service w caring staff and owner. Surprised more people aren't here yet - but today is Monday after the July 4th holiday - so maybe sleeping in? ... highly recommended:)(The sign is not very visible from the Highway. ... needs a new and a better one, probably.)

Well we were driving all day and stopped here to sleep. Nice to see a little cafe in a truck parking area. Yeah ! We kept our orders simple , ham n eggs and hamburger steak n eggs. We did ask for crispy hash browns with onions tho. Our waitress was also our cook. Oops now the owner walked in and took over cooking. Our food came and my ham steak was huge! Must have been a local pig..! Hehe. We totally enjoyed our food!! Hash brown with onions was great. We scraped our plates. Worth a stop back!

Perfect little roadside diner. Eggs done just right, great omelette, pancakes were fantastic. What's not to like? Perfect cafe on a long drive.We almost passed by because of poor reviews. No way. I love this little cafe, and I've travelled worldwide for 25 years. Highly recommended.And homemade pie

Expensive. Food is so so. $10.25 for a double cheeseburger that comes with chips. Service was ok. I guess when this is all you have. Everything is expensive. It's not where the pin says it is. Sits by truck stop.

Not worth a stop... Service was fast, I'll give them that... Seriously like two minutes fast. That was the first sign of trouble. Staff not so friendly, I had been sitting for maybe 30 seconds And the waitress was already asking me what I wanted. She stated she had tried the special today and it was good, Way to try and sell your product lady, I wasn't buying into it. I Ended up choosing the fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and corn. More batter than chicken makes this meal a disaster. I was able to eat one piece of meat off the chicken breast, I couldn't find anything else. I quickly paid and left, I'm still hungry and searching for a new place to eat. This place looks worse than a hole in the wall from the outside So what could you really expect.

Only one star because I had to give something. We walked in, a group of 11 and the waitress was pretty nice. She asked for our drink order before we could even sit down and look at the menu. We did order drinks. We sat down, noticed that the orange juice was $3, the soft drinks $2.50. Refills are $1.50! The food was all $11-13 on average. We decided that we wanted to spend our money somewhere else. I told the waitress, apologized, and I received a bunch of attitude because she has most of the drinks finished. Just wanted to let you know!

A super clean and charming restaurant with good food. We stopped for breakfast and enjoyed an omelette and scrambled eggs. Nothing fancy, just tasty food. The place (now called Holly Kaye's Country Cafe) is freshly painted and spotless inside. Friendly service and as a nice bonus.Note: we stopped by in March 2024 and the nearby road work is certainly affecting local businesses. Would definitely recommend driving on over to this restaurant and spending a little $$ to keep them going until the roadwork is finished.

The food is great and served quickly. Friendly staff and people in the cafe. Great spot if you are passing by.
